Most of the Viking turnovers were inconsequential
_________
You're a bigger idiot then the guy who started this thread. Both TO's at the end of the half and the end of the game cost MN a chance at points.
Yeah, MN blew it. That's a fact. But you are a complete moron if you actually believe that shit you wrote above.

And cut the BS that the Vikings should have won. They would have won if they hadn't turned it over 5 times or could have won if they hadn't had 12 players in the huddle...simple as that.

if your a football player there is no honor in trying to injure another player (parlayme444 you should know that since you played in college)...they took their shots at favre...some questionable... as far as linemen being box for not wanting to hurt the qb...only a box tries to injure someone...its ok to play rough in the context of the game, but beyond that lies the coward.....
saints game plan was to scare favre into hurrying throws......turnovers turnovers ....sealed their fate

Remember after Katrina how they were the nations darlings. when they played the Eagles, the refs did everything for them to win.
The pass interference in OT was BS!!.
The Overtime rule isalso BS..both teams should get a chance. Thats like flipping a coin in the World Cup Final and if the team that shoots first scores than it's over. OT rule is so stupid.

Clear control, ball never close to the ground. Pay attention, get over it and move one

Best team won last nite and best team, Colts, will win in two weeks. Carry on

I have never drank a beer in my life and the only way I will need a crying towel is if the Colts dont cover

i agree with you 100%... not that this is illegal, but it is cheap, and the refs fucked up by not taking control of it...
but there is no doubt, their primary gameplan was to injure Favre... make no mistake about it...

what about the 4th down play, dude? you are trying to justify these calls, but that 4th down play cannot be disputed...

Im not disputing it. It was called a first down. Whats to dispute?

The big call was the D holding on that gave them a 3 and out. Let people play a little bit. Not to mention Meecham didn't catch that pass and Thomas fumbled and recovered short the line of gain on 4th down. At the end of the day a coin flip and refs decided a game versus players on the field.
Hell, the play on the field looked like the better team pissed it down their leg.

what can't be disputed is that the call should have been overturned... there was indisputable visual evidence that the ball came loose, and therefore, according to the rules of the NFL, forward progress is negated, and the ball MUST be respotted where he regained control...
now, it is possible that after respotting the ball they still would have had a first down... but it is IMPOSSIBLE to know that until the ball is actually respotted... and the refs didn't do that...
you can argue some of the other calls... you can even argue that the PI call was actually catchable, since that is basically a judgment call...
but you CANNOT dispute that the 4th down spot of the ball should have been respotted and re-measured... you can't dispute that! it is black and white!

i think this is a very crucial capping angle that anyone betting on this Super Bowl needs to take into serious consideration:
which of these teams needs a new stadium?
have a good day...
