It's quite obvious most of the Pats backers are only betting them because they know them. Saints are the new kid on the block and most of you still don't know much about this team.
Schedule wise, the Saints and Pats are similar, with the Colts being the outlier for NE. They lost to a team with NO running game. Now they face a team that can run it as well as they can throw it.
Secondly, the Saints secondary is the best in the league and will be 3/4 healthy for this game. Brady WILL get picked at least once and it will turn into points, because the Patriots can't sack anybody. They're 27th is sacks and going up against one of the biggest, strongest, and most athletic lines they'll see all year. This is where this game will be decided.
The Pats only hope is to do what they have struggled doing against decent teams...creating turnovers. If the Saints win the turnover battle, they will beat NE physically and handily.

I am officially done on this one, but I will commit to posting a thread with those of you too blinded to see this game clearly. I will post a 'bullet point thread' ... copy/pasting the ridiculus statements you made.. final score as I see it:
Pats 34 - Saints 24.... and yes, I would wager $100 with +1000 line with pats -13.5.. as I think there is an outside chance the Pats will break 40
enough said.

"" The easiest play of the year thus far is New England over New Orleans. If you don’t believe me, listen to the facts:"
This is all I needed to read in this entire 6 page post to know that you are wrong. The Saints are the no-brainer here. How you could justify anything less than an 8 point New Orleans favorite is beyond me. Brees wins this one handily without ever any doubt. To think otherwise is unjustifiable.

I am not a Pats fan, far from it. But when this one is over, the 'new kid' you speak of will have a black eye, and a broken nose....

LOL...I can't say I blame the Saints fans, as the team was really bad for a long time, and now they are respectable (and they deserve that compliment), but they are not a contender, but that reality will set in quickly on Monday night

Ravens fan... you are going to have a tough money week... you already committed to playing the Saints, and if my guess is correct, you will be playing the Ravens over steelers this Sunday... do yourself a favor and put aside the rent and grocery money before you book your plays

I just laugh at nut stainds like yourself, just seeking attention, how do you justify a comment like this. Go make your bets and lose again today.

NE LOST to the Jets and had a tough time with Buffalo. They had a tough time at home with Miami. They LOST to Denver. They caught Tennesse at a bad time in the snow and the rest of their schedule, outside of rival Indy, is a joke!
For the Saints, there was some fluky shit at the end of the Falcons and Rams game (lead 28-17 with 4:00 remaining) and they only fell behind early against Carolina and Miami. They came back and throttled both of those teams.
The reason why this Saints team is legit is because they are multi-faceted on offense with veteran leadership on defense. The '07 Pats lost the SB because they were too dependent on Brady. They are too dependent on him now and this is why they have lost 3 games and will lose on Monday night. The Saints DON'T need Brees to have a big game to win.

I started writing this during the end of the 3rd quarter, and posted it with left in the 4th quarter. The Saints have literally taken the Pats will to fight. I am the first to stand behind what I say, and admit when I am wrong. The Saints are for real, and I could not have been more wrong. Truth be told, this is as big of a capping embarrassment as I ever have incurred. The score does not do justice to the ass kicking that Brees and company dished out. With that said; I fully anticipate those that I had ‘argued’ with on this topic to have your well deserved shots-as I would have done if the result were reversed.Congrats, and know I will be hesitant to underestimate the New Orleans Saints in the future. Parting thoughts:
*Damn! The Saints looked good!!I don’t think the Vikings would have a shot if the game is played in New Orleans.
* If they were to play this game again tomorrow; the line would be Saints -14.5
* Lastly, I wonder what percentage of Charger fans are wishing they traded Phillip Rivers instead? Lol….
Have at it boyz, I deserve it, and you do as well…and I won’t hide; I will reply to posts, just as I have up until now.
