We should be discussing the cowardice of the Patriots right now.
First they lose to the Jets in an effort to knock the Steelers out of the Playoffs
Yes they did, do not tell me that was not the plan
Then they lose to the Dolphins to avoid the Steelers in the playoffs as the lowest seed which is Pittsburgh would play the number 1 seed so the Pats decided to give up the Number one seed to avoid the Steelers.
Yes they will beat the Cheifs
the Steelers will handle Denver
and the Steelers will give the Patriots what its dreaded all along
a Playoff game with the Steelers.
To be honest, it makes sense from a matchup-standpoint. Of all the three remaining teams in the AFC, the Steelers have one thing the others don't provide: they have a good OL and can beat the Patriots deep (with a healthy Ben and he was healthy when they dropped those games). Last year the Patriots were very good against deep balls because of Revis, Browner and McCourty. Their LB corps was banged up so it was more about the short to medium passes they were vulnerable against. The Steelers have already shown in week 1 that they are a good matchup against the Patriots.

You obviously didn't watch any of games the starters played and took a physical beating including the QB
As long as you keep telling us that Tom Brady is the most overrated QB on the planet and not good at all, I won't have a discussion with you regarding the Patriots.

Suuma, I have said it before about you being the most unbiased and honest Jets fan I know when it comes to talking about the Patriots and your own team, it is appreciated. I agree 100% with your insight here as I have the same. You will see a totally different Patriots team than what we saw the last few weeks. They were a banged up team for sure, my only issue with them was if they wanted to protect Brady in the finale then just start Jimmy G and go with your usual game plan, Brady only throwing 5 passes in the first half was a little much to swallow. I believe home field throughout the playoffs is huge but BB and Brady always say " It is not where you play it is how you play". I think a healthy Pats team can beat any team anywhere if they play their game.
All this love for KC in this game reminds of the Bengals love last year after KC destroyed NE, remember how that ended? Pats destroyed Cincy and went on to win the Superbowls.
Mysticrich, remember the superbowl last year when the most overrated QB of all time went 12 for 13 in the 4th qtr with 2 TD's against the best defense in the league and 8 for 8 on the final TD drive? G.O.A.T. Get over it.

You don't actually believe that the Pats lost on purpose, gave up the 1 seed - to avoid the Steelers? Pats are 4 time Superbowl champs, they're not the Dolphins. They don't care who they play. Seattle could have laid down in week 17 against Arizona but they didn't. NE just wanted to stay healthy

I said that SEVERAL times, LC. I just wanted to point out that IF they were trying to avoid the Steelers, it was because of the matchup.

Comment on your SEA +700 play for SB. I send you message on "blue bird" as well. Better to ROLL the ML each week.
-200
+130 (estimate) before last week
+130 (estimate)
PK
equates to +1500. Obviously some lines might be different but those are close guesses.
It is NEVER right to take futures right before the tournament/playoffs as all team prices are low (these are NOT 2-way prices where books have to have other NOT win lines so each team is low and implied JUICE is crazy high. By rolling you get real lines).
excellent work...the math always wins
Suuma good luck to you, still undecided on this one

Blah Blah Blah Brady weak
You have no come back cause your post is stupid, they lost 4 of their last 6 games and got the crap beat out of them and nobody was resting they accumulated more injury's
And your 5-0 ATS after 2 losses what the hell does that really mean ? 19 of the Teams in the NFL are either 500 or below
The NFL is a bunch of stinky teams
5-0 ATS when losing 2 games has nothing to do with coming into a Divisional playoff game facing a team who's won 11 in a row
Before you put out stats like this think first

It's unbelievable what you are talking. They got the crap beat out of them? They lost twice in overtime and lost a special teams festival vs the Eagles
Against the Jets, Amendola, Edelman, Chung & McCourty were put on the inactives list on Saturday when they were questionable all week long. They didn't want them to play, that's it. Read post #15 about how the Pats played vs. the Dolphins. Their play-calling was VANILLA. They get a lot of key players back, Edelman is expected to play. There was rumors that he would be able to play vs. the Jets but they kept him out of it.
Brady threw 5 times during the first half, Amendola saw just 26 snaps and they called 27 running plays when they couldn't run (2.6 YPC).
But yeah tell me they got beat the crap out of them
Stop talking bullsh*t just because you hate the QB and or the franchise.

In the last 4 weeks they lost a running back they replaced him with a washed up guy that's been moth balls for a year
An injured Gronkowski came back early cause they lost two games and he's taken some big hits and he don't look good (he wasn't resting)
Amendola hurt his knee in the Tennessee game The offensive lines a mess and Vollmer went out in a cart vs the Jets that was 3 weeks ago ,
Brady vs Miami rolled up on MRI sprain ankle 2 weeks ago
You thought because they lost 2 games they were resting , the truth is they got the crap beat out of them
The premise of your post is not factual
1) Vollmer is practicing while I am typing this
2) Their OL was a mess coming into the season with 3 rookies starting and they took a beating on everyone, because they had the personnel and the playbook to play around a weak OL

This whole post is loaded with a bunch of Gems
So the Patriots lost on purpose to the Jets ?
it was 17 -3 Jets in the third quarter the Patriots battle back to a 20 -20 tie putting it in overtime
After battling back from a two TD deficit getting key players injured pushing the game to OT it was at was at that moment Belichick said lets lose on purpose so we won't face Pittsburgh
Suuma give it up, you try i give you credit for the effort but you have no idea what your talking about like i said before THINK

great post, when the Patriots lose the is always an excuse why, just accept when you lose which has been common lately.

I agree that Patriots are pure lock in the Divisional Round. This is my play of the week actually. Chiefs are the most overrated team in NFL right now. Their cupcake schedule and easy walk WC round brain wash for all of their backers. Now they face really legit opponent almost unbeatable at home. Last three seasons (including playoffs) Patriots are 25-2 SU (one of the losses was in meaningless game against Buffalo in week 17 last season) and 18-8-1 ATS with avg line of - 7.1 at Foxborough.... Give me Brady/Belichick combo at home with higher (-4.5 or - 5) line than that avg line (-7.1) any day any week... GL suuma.. we will cash this week and the haters gonna pay us
