Welker&#x27;s momentum was going the other way, he had to reach back while jumping and try to make the catch.  9/10 times Welker catches that...9/10 times Brady makes the BETTER throw.  Point is, he didn&#x27;t make the throw when it was needed.

That throw all he needed to do was LEAD Branch, and he could have been in Giant territory with 45ticks left and 1 timeout left.&#xD;&#xA;To put it in perspective, my mom who knows very little about football commented..."What a bad throw" not "He should have caught that" in regard to the pass to Welker

Brady could have made a better throw but Welker still should have caught it... The pats d didnt bail them out either
