I like that top tier sequence, Fubah. Either San Francisco or Dallas might get to the big dance and grab the Lombardi Trophy, it has been very long time for both cities to hoist that Trophy since '90s. 2024 is prolly their year of champion for either city, we shall see.
Barring any critical injuries they are both headed on that path, yep!
I have 2 more game writeups coming on Saturday (like the one above) but too exhausted now...
Good to see you back, Europa! I know you love the playoffs!

Vikings are changing their QB from a career backup (Dobbs) who is a dual threat!!, to another career backup who is not a dual threat whatsoever. While the move is to shakeup the team, it may backfire now with much fewer dual threat rush yards coming their way. Mullens is unimpressive/mediocre. Vikings could only muster a measley 3.3 ypp against a bad Raiders team, then needed +3 net turnovers, to win 3 - 0. Prior to that they lost AT HOME to an even weaker team (Chicago) Now, they are removing their dual threat from the offense and facing the toughest team they have played on the road since week 2 (a 6 point loss)
PLUS, Vikes just lost their star RB!!(Mattison)
Meanwhile, despite losing Burrow the Bengals are humming just fine. After a 6 pt loss in his first ever start, the rookie Jake Browning, then led his team, ON THE ROAD, to a convincing victory over a good team (Jags) - which only went to OT because a tipped ball INT gave Jags a freebie from the 9. Otherwise, Bengals outplayed Jags by +115 net yds despite that INT! Then last week, at HOME against the then 7 - 5 COLTS, in only his 3rd start of his career, Browning leads his team to a 34 - 14 blowout win on +113 net yds and a whopping 6.8 ypp! Browning has not looked BAD in any of his 3 starts, and won the most recent two by generating 34 pts each.
Meanwhile, the Bengal defense, ON HOMEFIELD, limited the Steelers to just 16 and then only 7 vs the Colts! Now that tough homefield Bengals defense faces a shaky/mediocre Vikings offense who are WITHOUT their best RB (Mattison) and without an important dual threat at QB!
Of course, anything can happen in football on any given day. Net turnovers, other lucky breaks, key injuries, etc. And that could happen Saturday too with the hometown Bengals getting upset by bad luck! But all else being equal, the Bengals should have a decided edge here and should prevail (notwithstanding aforementioned breaks, etc)
More NFL to come ...

Good to see you've doing great in the season, keep 'em coming Fubah!
You have good memory, Fubah. I've been playing great majority of NFL playoff games since '86 when John Elway's Broncos beat Bernie Kosar's Browns in the AFC Divisional. That game got me hooked to the NFL Postseason ever since, it's sad that my good 'ol buddy who took the same bet on the Broncos in that game, at Caesar's Palace, has passed two years ago.
Good luck to you for the rest of regular season and onto the playoffs!

I expect this Bengals 2nd drive to fizzle and we may settle in to exchanging a few punts.

*IF* for any reason, the LUCKY VIKINGS manage to take their 2nd drive in for a TD, they will win the game..... IF just 3 pts or they drive but leave the ball deep, then this is a coin flipper.....Bengals need a quick stop then a scoring drive or they are in a heap of trouble without their big DT in the middle of the DLine.....

But all else being equal, the Bengals should have a decided edge here and should prevail (notwithstanding aforementioned breaks, etc) More NFL to come ...BENGALS -1 -150 *BB 2u Bengals -1.5 -143 buy pts and Bengals -2.0 -135 buy pts BoL with your bets fellas Vikings LUCK continues......big DT for Bengals injured mid 1stQ.......big loss for Bengals.....Lucky Vikes....... score is 3 - 0 but that will now change soon..... READER declare OUT for the remainder of the game, leaving a big hole in the middle for Vikes RBs I expect this Bengals 2nd drive to fizzle and we may settle in to exchanging a few punts. *IF* for any reason, the LUCKY VIKINGS manage to take their 2nd drive in for a TD, they will win the game..... IF just 3 pts or they drive but leave the ball deep, then this is a coin flipper.....Bengals need a quick stop then a scoring drive or they are in a heap of trouble without their big DT in the middle of the DLine.....
....and now we see another Bengal defender go down with a bad injury and he is OUT for the game.....VERY LUCKY Vikings!..... Vikes should now be able to put up 20 - 28 pts today and win unless Bengals O opens it up in a hurry.....

Then of course, on 3rd and long, the Vikes hit a big gainer to avoid punting from the EZ

The LUCKY Broncos take their lucky streak on the road into the Lion's den Saturday night. Make no mistake, while yes the Broncos have improved their play, the recent game results were heavily influenced by LUCK -- notably turnovers and most of those FUMBLES - which are the luckier than INTs. Broncos lead the league in sheer LUCK gaining 13 takeaways from fumbles that just happened to bounce into their arms, not their opponent's. The league avg is just 8....and those lucky breaks, including recently, not only end a scoring drive but usually give the Broncos a score to turn an even game into a misleading final score. Broncos were LUCKY as all get out to get a narrow 2 pt win over the struggling & injured Bills, with +3 net turnovers (2 fumbles).....the next week, the LUCKY Broncos needed +3 net turnovers AGAIN (2 fumbles) - all three resulting in fieldgoals (2 in Vikings territory) - just to narrowly edge the struggling/mediocre Vikings by a single point *ON HOMEFIELD*.....they put together a decent game the following week ON HOMEFIELD against the Browns but here again the score was embellished by gaining 3 fumbles off the Browns (10 pts directly)..... Then the LUCKY Broncos began their first of 3 consecutive ROAD games....At Houston their LUCK completely abandoned them. They got no lucky fumbles or INTS! They did gain the benefit of +74 net yds in pens against the Texans though. Despite that, they were outplayed and lost by 5 to the equally mediocre Texans....Then they hit the road against Herbert and the Chargers as +3 pt dogs, but hoping their LUCK would return.....and it did......bigly! Rather than kicking a chipshot FG to start the game up 3 - 0, Coach Staley decides to go for it on a 4th and 3, and fails.....Next possession for Chargers results in a tipped ball and a LUCKY GIFT to the Broncos at the Charger 3 for an easy TD.....Then a couple possessions later with the score still 7 - 0 Staaley is faced with a makeable FG or go for it on 4th and 2....He goes for it again and it fails again. Not only that but they lose their star QB Herbert for the season on that gamble in the 2ndQ. This is the same Staley who just got whalloped 63 - 21 BY A WEAK TEAM!!! So we see how well the Chargers played WITHOUT Herbert. the week before against the LUCKY Broncos they played most the game without Herbert also - and actually worse because the backup gets thrown into the fire with no prep! Thus the LUCKY Broncos benefitted from that bigtime! Remember folks, venue is very important! Don't underestimate it!

Thus, ON THE ROAD, facing teams similar in strength to Lions (ie, now with 6 or fewer losses) the Broncos struggle mightily....We remember the -50 pt stunner at Miami (9 - 4)....then the -11 pt LOSS at Chiefs (8 - 5)..... then the *VERY* LUCKY 2-pt win at mediocre Buffalo (7 - 6) ....followed by their recent -5 pt LOSS at mediocre Houston.... the win over the pathetic, Herbert-less Chargers is not something to crow about, nor use in stats about how great their alleged defense is! When ON THE ROAD, the Broncos have given up: 70, 28, 19, 22, 22, and just 7 agains those pathetic, Herbert-less Chargers and their backup QB Easton Stick. Nothing about all this impresses me.
OTOH, I love setups like this one Saturday night: where a GOOD TEAM (9 - 3 Lions) wins on the road then rolls in to face a weak Bears team - a game they SHOULD ALSO WIN - but GET UPSET in a shocker! Talk about motivation for a rebound ON HOME TURF!! And against a team that wrongly thinks their really good now, coming off a 24 - 7 road win, while virtually ignoring all the LUCKY BREAKS that got them there in recent weeks.....It's retribution time for GOFF and the prideful LIONS and Broncos will be absent arguably their best LB (Bonitto) and possibly their best safety (Locke)...their other excellent LB (Cooper) while likely to suit up will play nursing an injury.
Of course, anything can happen in football on any given day. Net turnovers, other lucky breaks, key injuries, etc. But all else being equal, the LIONS have a decided edge here and should prevail easily (unless Broncos luck returns in a big way)

I HATE buying back bets this early, but the VIKES LUCK is just INCREDIBLE today and I can't beat luck like that...... LIVE BET, mid 2Q Vikes lead 7 - 3 and driving deep: VIKES -200 *BB 4u....and of course, right AFTER I buy back bets on Bengals, they snuff out the sure Vikings score with an INT to get some good fone of their own......so we shall see how long that holds up if they can't move the ball past midfield....
Even more Vikings luck as Mullens is falling to the ground and does his best to get rid of the ball....shoestring catch and a walk into the EZ........
Glad I bought back some of my expected losses on Bengals

Timeout to attend a player down.....But now, the LUCKY VIKINGS have gained 280 net yards to just 108 after equal number of drives!
And a whopping 6.7 ypp to just 3.9 ypp advantage!
...plus of course lead 14 - 3

....and now the LUCKY VIKES get back one of those INTs, this one near midfield, and signals the O for the Bengals are having a bad day bordering on a one-off...
