Do the refs/players get instruction from the "Almighty" in person or via email / texting / conference call?
Hard to believe that no one has been able to hacked the any of the massive electronic foot print left behind given the number of refs/players/coaches involve for fixing NBA/NFL/MLB/NHL/NCAA. We're talking thousands of games involving hundreds and hundreds of people over the years!!!
Why would NFL want Denver to lose yesterday? The better scenerio is NE and Denver are both undefeated when they meet.

What better Hollywood-scenerio than Manning goes back to his old stomping ground and leaving with a win and break the career record for passing yardage! Losing and leaving it 3 yards shy is not a great script!!!

"Losing" money bets yesterday w/ Den would lead to much bigger payoff down the road with 2 undefeated teams and fix that game.
Public bets determines winner meaning bookies are in on it. We all know how honorable those guys are to keep it hush-hush in all these years between hundreds of of local and online books!!!
Here's the conspiracy... Books talk to each other to determine where the public money is, then to the league, then to the players/refs/coaches. And all of this has to be done an HOUR or so before game time as that's when the public money is, not days ahead!

IMO The "FIX" is getting the money on the side they want to lose. That's done through media and lines or line movements. I don't believe coaches, players, and refs are on the take. The more you listen to pre-game analysts the more they sway money to the losing side.
Another thing, how do anyone really know which side the money is really on? Anything you read could be fake regarding numbers on which side the money is on.

How many touts make winning picks consistently? I guess ALL those guys are dumb and are clueless about the fixing angle. We have people here who can read it the right side of the fix but prefer the year to year grind with their own money rather than free LARGE money.
I guess their favorite character from Rounders is Joey Knish.

Money Maker is a media person with FB/Instagram postings of winning wagers, mostly after the fact. He lives in Vegas with hundreds of millions at his disposal, but yet he is clueless about the fix and makes his own picks rather than hire someone who can read the fix.

If the fix is in on any games the public out cry would ruin Vegas books. A lot of crazy things happen weekly but In no way is Vegas changing things in there favor Teams care about one thing winning not covering or any other bs so in the end of many games wierd things happen that lines makers figure into there lines unlike us bettors who just play the spread not thinking of situations a team might be in come late in the fourth My thoughts

We fade the public for one reason I speak of football not any other sport and it's simple Vegas adjust the lines in there favor they aren't always right but as a bookie why wouldn't you give yourself a advantage I know I would!!!!

Why did the MLB openly conspire not to sign free agents?
Are you saying the league conspire to screw over the hundreds of free agents, some making hundreds of thousands, and not pay them the open market price?

I mean you have to understand that athletes are just people too. Yes they happen to play a sport professionally and for a ton of money but they are people. There are psychological elements like motivation that you need to understand. Its simply not possible even for the best athletes to play every game with 100% effort and up to 100% of their capability.
Bad teams beat better teams for a myriad of reasons. 99.99% of the time its not because of a fix.

This thread is a waste of server space and network bandwidth. THERE IS NO SUCH THING IS FIXED IN BIG LEAGUES. Maybe a small percentage in ncaa games are fixed due to some poor smug players need the money to buy drugs.
Every team has an opportunity to win on a given day. That's what makes sports fun & excited.

The 'fixed' theory springs from the minds of people who have neither the skill or the maturity to be honest with themselves after a loss.
Rather than look closely at whether a) it was just luck or b) they made a mistake in their analysis or c) they're just not any good at capping, it is much more pleasant to instead blame shadowy forces for a loss.
"Oh, it couldn't possibly be that the pick wasn't as wonderful as I thought it was... I didn't fail in any way, I WAS ROBBED BY A CONSPIRACY!"
It's literally the most basic level you can be on as a sports bettor. The pseudo-sharp and the super-slick-public-fader can't possibly be full of sh*t.. the rest of the world is up to something, instead.

And anyone who doesn't know the NFL is the worst league for close-games, maniac-comebacks and crazy-upsets doesn't understand the true nature of the game being played or the structure of the rules.
This forum is full of people who think they understand how to cap NFL. 'Think' they understand.
