After that performance against the Eagles all the people that were suggesting Romo is a Top 5 QB please be quiet until the guy proves himself by winning a playoff game!

no specific order i would put brady, both mannings, roethlisberger, rivers, brees, mcnabb & delhomme ahead of him for sure

flacco, ryan & cassell are close but you cant state it till they have more than 1 year under their belt

cutler is close to better as is pennington

going into game two weeks ago was highest rated qb in league.  just hasnt had head screwed on right lately.
 
as a huge cowboy fan our offensive scheme sucks

tx, I want Wade gone but every time I think about it I remember Garret is the replacement.  His stock has fallen like the NYSE IMO!

Just goes to show that when your top RB is hurt and you need the QB to win you games he's not the guy. Cowboy fans don't even put Romo in the same sentence as McNabb after today!

Romo can't be considered Top 5 or even Top 10 until he proves he can win a meaningful game.  He has plenty of weapons to do so, but still is wet behind the ears.

Hey I just remembered when everyone was saying Romo was a top 5 QB w/o winning a playoff game. Remember the thread "Name the Top 5 QB'S Now" and Romo's name was mentioned an awful amount of times, no pun intended. Too funny!!

I've been saying this all season...starting with the thread picking the Top 5 NFL QB's before the season.  All the numbers he puts up are because of the people around him.  They have one of the best offensive lines, a solid running back, 2 top receivers, and one of the best tight ends.  A major problem is with their play calling, but putting that aside, he is just barely an average quarterback.

Even when he first started out in the league he was hyped up.  He sat on the bench, backed up Bledsoe and such, and for some reason they pegged him as the star of the future because he did well in practice?  He's got good mobility, but his accuracy is average, arm strength is average, and his decision making is well below average.  I can't remember the last game that he played where he didn't turn the ball over at least once or twice (or more like today).

As a Cowboys fan, it hurts me to watch, because I can honestly say that the Cowboys will NEVER MAKE A SUPER BOWL with Tony Romo as their quarterback.  You just can't do it when you have two or three turnovers.  Look at Brett Favre. There's a prime example of what turnovers do.  I said it in another thread today, if you put Romo on any of the average teams, not even below average suck teams, just an average team (Bills, Broncos, Redskins, etc.) he's not in the Top 10 in any category except maybe INT's.  He relies on Terrell Owens, Jason Witten, Patrick Crayton, and all the other receivers to make plays after they catch the ball.  I would love to see him on another team just to see what he can do.
