nope I was wrong; thought it would come right down to the wire, and the Eagles didn't have a shot to win in the final minute. Hope noone lost too much on the Pats.

or at worst it comes right down to the wire.... TRUE
 
a team that will go in unmotivated... FALSE I didnt see that, happen PHI had a good game plan.. PHI appeared motivated however....

against a talented... FALSE... once again, I think it was game planning, rather then individual plays based on physical talent...
hungry well coached opponent.. VERY TRUE

who plays well on the road... TRUE 4-2 ATS now...

NE will also be a bit undermanned.... FALSE.. they came in perhaps the more manned then ever this season... only after injuries did they have holes...

I don't care how good a motivator Bellichek is, or what the Eagles implied about the Super Bowl, human nature says the Pats come out asleep at the wheel... False, NE did not come out  asleep, rather PHI gave him some blitzs and coverage schemes that  NE has not seen...  I do not think that Brady got sacked early because he was asleep... 
I do not think that Moss did not catch alot of passes because he was asleep...

NE may wake up if they're losing at halftime, but if they go in with a lead, forget it they're done.

For all you bettors who are riding with NE and won't hear anything to the contrary, just do yourselves a favor and at least don't ride too heavily this week, ok?

I do think the Pats came in thinking they could just try whatever they wanted, like 19 passes on their first 21 plays, and beat the Eagles. They also committed bad penalties in key situations, and had several dropped balls on offense and blown coverages on defense. They also put almost no pressure on Feeley against an average O-line and missed their share of tackles, both of which I attribute at least some to a lack of fire. We can agree to disagree on that one I guess. Still, thanks for taking the time to go through the post.

Next week the Pats will be back on track with a big win over Baltimore.  Todays close game might serve  to keep the line a bit more rational.  I am hoping for an o/u of 50 or less so that I can take the over.  I did great tonite on the over (did not play a side).

great  call mate!!!  took the eagles +24.5 and the over in a 2 team parlay : £350 to win £910 i'm so happy i cant even sleep
the eagles showed the patriots have weaknesses  cant wait till the pats vs steelers match yay!!!

I was pretty confident that NE would beat Philly by a wide margin but I only played the over.  I do think that this was an anomaly and they will be back to big margins next week.  I haven't actually played NE or opponent to win/cover in the last few games. I have been taking the over.

I didn't touch the game...but my pats won the game..woooohoooo...

I think they've been numerous posts throughout season goin on about NE won't cover blah blah blah...and hey they're humans...they won't cover every weekend...big deal out of those 1 came true....

I wouldn't call you a genius but good call.
