"With Little Risk" - that's it! That's the part that slays me every single time I read this thread. I was trying to figure out why this poor schmuck's "wager" keeps me coming back in here to read it like a moth to a flame. I just figured it out. So naive, so ignorant. I mean, who the hell lays down a total of $7,000 on a 4, let alone 8 team parlay?

Total take home $96,464.64 + $4943.51 = $101,408.15




And if the 8-team loses, I still walk away with a cool $43.51 to buy some dinner
