Seems that the NFL has concluded that the wife of Hill was more of the issue and was framing Hill from the beginning. 100% certain of that now.
Well, guess I'm auto-playing the Chiefs week 1. I hope it holds at -4 or under. Chiefs have gotten significantly better on defense and added another WR in the draft Mecole Hardman who they specifically drafted to replace Hill thinking that Hill was on the way out of the league......now they have 2 Hills on that team...
Foles has zero chemistry with his new offense and it screams of a Keenum type of scenario where a journeyman QB gets paid big money to go to a shitty organization and fails miserably.

Jags have had a whole offseason to study mahomes, chiefs aren't significantly better on defense they lost their top rushers and slightly upgraded a few spots, they will still be a below average defensively. Mahomes has to regress there is no way he can top last years regular season performance.
Foles doesn't need to be great he just needs to better then bortles and he most likely will be. Laying 4 on the road against a top five defense is not a good bet in my opinion.

Should have clarified the defense getting better part. Spags as the DC is a major upgrade from Sutton. Plus the defense was so horrific last season there is no way they are not instantly better just by switching coaches. Then you add in Clark and Honeybadger. Their top pass rusher was Chris Jones btw and they should sign him before the season starts.
Foles is for sure an upgrade over Bortles but things take time. Who should I place my money on? Mahomes in year 3 of Andy Reid's system or Foles in week 1 of not only DeFilippo's system but also week 1 of meshing with his receivers and OL.

Spags is an upgrade but not week one, his system is tough for players to learn. In 2007, his first year as giants dc they gave up 45 and 35 in wk 1and 2,, both losses. in 2012 as saints dc he gave up 40 and 35 in two losses and in 2015 back to nyg's, 27 and 24 in two losses.
As far as the offense for jags, fournette and more fournette to keep mahomes on the bench.
Bol to you but I'm very confident in jags week 1 because of these reasons.

Idk, isn't Reid almost perfect in week 1 contests?
I'm seeing reid as 11-8, here is an article from last year https://arrowheadaddict.com/2017/09/05/andy-reid-opening-game-week-1-nfl-history-chiefs-eagles/2/

That's a good point about Coughlin. I hadn't thought about that.
