Is there any reason not to bet on GB?
Washington has not beaten anyone good this season.
GB is clearly the favorite here. They may not be their best this season but surely they can beat the lowly deadskins?
What am I missing?

any reason not to bet GB??...how about their sub-par performances for basically the last  2 thirds of the season and absences of key players??...you are reading too much into name brand recognition of the packers and remember you dont get them at lambeau..totally different animal....they are capable of winning of course...but redskins have shown more than enuff to be favoured here and i like them at pk.

Answer: No and nothing.

Deadskins are archetypical 1 and done, miracle they won the division, zero expectations to advance. Prob a 4 interception game for Cousins. POUND GB at +1

GB can't run, They can't score either. Was is winning here plus there at home. Like GB wanted too not play a home playoff game come on don't over think it Was is the play.

GB has scored 21 total points their last two.  They had to play a guy at left tackle the other night who'd never played left tackle before.  They're a mess..

If you take the "Rodgers" name off of the quarterback's back, what you see is not a very good team..

Is this a serious question? If so, my thoughts.....

1) Green Bay has one of the worst O lines in the NFL. Eddie Lacy has been getting dogged all year for being a bum, yet when the Packers go to the shotgun to pass the ball Rodgers doesn't get a second and a half before he is running for his life.

2) Green Bay has a junk D. They struggle to stop the run and good QB's rip their secondary apart. Laugh if you will, but Cousins is a good QB. He was at the top of the league in the 2nd half of the season. He will have a big game against this awful D.

3) Aaron Rodgers? What's he doing? He had a wide open TD pass to force OT yesterday and he threw a pass a full 10 feet off of his target. He is not playing well and this has been going on for a while.

4) Washington is playing well. How this line is not 3 is the 8th wonder of the world. If you love GB, wait until game time when this line gets pounded to 3.

When I opened this thread I thought you were going to say the redskins should be laying more chalk . How can you have any confidence that GB is gonna flip a switch and start playing quality ball. Is Freeman coming back? Maybe Reggie ;)

The Skins have been favored twice this year.  0-2 ATS in those contests.  They are 0-3 ATS last 3 playoff games.  They have 0 quality wins. 


The last two years before this year they had a combined ATS record of 10-22 worst in the NFL.  This may seem irrelevant, but it shows the overall picture of a team.  The QB position is better but they are not a playoff team let alone a favorite.


Packers are no prize, but they played the far better schedule.

Packers or nothing for me.

both teams are pretty bad but ill take my chances with aaron rodgers over kirk cousins as a small underdog any day

GB has no offensive line, the slowest WR's in the NFL...if they win, it will be because of their defense...

Im the biggest GB homer on the site, and I wouldnt bet GB getting 7 points right now

Btw the Bears went 6-10 and 5 of their losses have been by 4 or less points. Improvement

Week17 is a perfect scenario for WAS bandwagon.

WAS 34 : DAL 23 (DAL already booked ticket to Maldives not Revis Island)

MIN 20 : GB 20 on Primetime SNF

This is clear one of the wild card game in the decade.

Vegas like that. Kirk Cousins.

Look at who the Redskins have played.  6 games in the NFC Least.

When they played good teams, Panthers and Patriots, they got crushed. 

That's not to say Green Bay is a good team, and the Redskins are on fire.

But as I said, on fire against who?  4 games in a row against the Bears, Bills, Eagles, Cowboys.

I would rather lose to the vikings and not risk anymore injuries to go play a washington team, than to win the vikings and play seattle at home any day.

Ive been around, just laying low ha!  

I will say, the Bears did play well this year.  Will be interested to see what they do in the off-season...I cant believe they want to let Forte go, but it makes sense being the Bears!
