Have you seen this team the last 10 games?  

4 wins and 6 losses, with wins on a hailmary, against a terrible Cowboys team in which it was close late in the 4th qtr, and wins at Oak and Minn.  

They cant block anybody.  They cant get a WR open.  Lacy is overweight.  The only way they move in the ball, is late in the game in panic mode with Rodgers running around with a chicken with his head cut-off.  

If Shields cant play, we are in trouble stopping the pass.   

It took me an extreme gut-check to admit that GB just isnt that good this year.  The D has stepped up, but the lack of talent on the outside, besides an injured Nelson has really caught up to them, not to mention 5 injured O-linemen.

In the draft, I hope they find a fast tight-end and even more speed on the outside

Huge Redskins fan and gotta say.
Skins will score plenty.
Pack will score as well with the Skins weak secondary.
Both teams will come out slinging and we should have lots of big plays.
Over is the safest play in my book.
Skins or Pack 31-27 win.

All I'm saying is that after Cousins screamed YOU LIKE THAT after the best redskins comeback in franchise history against the Bucs, Cousins has thrown 23 TDs and 3 INTs and has seen his QBR rise from 45.6 to 79.8. Now I like that

Without Nelson, the Packers lack the ability to stretch the field and allow Rodgers to look for targets over the short, medium and long zones of the field.  They were able to escape that problem during the first half of the season but once teams figured out some of their schemes and plays, it became harder for the Packers to come up with quality plays that work.  Their receivers right now can't create enough separation and that's making Rodgers look bad. 

Even worse, tubbo Lacy has shown he can't keep his spoon out of the ice cream box and lacks the ability to have a real impact on the game.  The Redskins can potentially control the TOP and dictate the pace if they have the right approach to the game. 

Yes, Green Bay can win.  However, I'd rather back the Redskins and their good stretch of football right now over the Packers and their bad stretch of football right now.

Green Bay has been circling the drain for two months. They are BAD everywhere offensively, outside of their QB.

Their line cannot pass block, they have zero run game and they don't have a WR that can consistently get any kind of separation. Go watch some film of that last trip to the red zone versus Minnesota. My god... they didn't have a receiver that could get an inch of separation. 

Washington hasn't had any wins versus great teams, but they have been absolutely dominant and their QB is red hot.

They're 6-2 at home, and 8-0 when they score over 20 points. I really cannot envision GB winning this game.

All the Packers are, is a name at this point. As a team, they've looked absolutely finished for a while.

They're 4-6 in their last 10, and without a miracle hail mary victory. They're 3-7 in that span. They lost to the Bears and Lions during that run too. They are more than capable of losing to Washington, and probably will.

 

Washington should absolutely win this game.

You guys who think this will be a high scoring game are in for a surprise, IMO.

The last half of the season, GB has played some lower scoring games. Their offense has scored 21 points in their last two games combined. They were held to 16 by Detroit and 13 by Chicago. This O-line is REALLY bad. 

Their D, however... has remained solid. I just don't envision either team lighting it up offensively. I think this will be similar to the MIN/GB game. 21-17 type of ball game.

Agree with all these points and will also add that Washington has been a far superior team at home this season which should give them a lot of confidence going into this game. Additionally, GB is not great at covering the TE and I believe Reed will have a field day against their Defense. I like Washington BIG in this game and I think the books will likely cleanup on this game by casual bettors who hammer GB in this game.

Pardon me if Im mistaken...but I was pretty sure that if GB won, and SEA won; that GB Would have a rematch with the Vikes at home. GB was giving it 100% effort and lost....

Bettors should also consider that since 1990, home teams have won 65% of the time in the wildcard round. Im personally expecting 2 home teams to win after some in depth research (I originally thought all 4 toad teams would win S/U and cover...now Im not sure SEA will win by a TD).

I think CIN and WAS win SU/Cover, and KC/SEA win but only KC gets the ATS cover (hell, Im doubting that pick as well right now).

everyone keeps mentioning how the redskins got whipped by the panthers and patriots. skins were missing a lot of players against new England and new England was running on all cylinders at the time. one thing nobody has mentioned is the fact that green bay got totally girl slapped by the panthers. game was a total blowout until green bay got a couple cheapies at the end. skins were hanging with Carolina and should of been up 21-14 if the refs didn't totally screwed them on that interception return.

You can say the same about the Packers, who have they played? They started the season on fire going 6-0 beating Seattle an KC (2 playoff teams) the other 4 were Bears, 49er's, Rams and Chargers, all below .500 if not mistaken. Then after injuries and coming out of the by week, what have they done since. The next 10 they lost to Broncos, Panthers, Cardinals, Vikings (4 playoff teams), Lions, Bears. And beating the Vikes, Lions, Cowboys and the Raiders. Except for Minnesota, all 3 .500 or less.
So I would say neither has played that well against better teams.

green bay looked slow and worn out on sunday.  Redskins are peaking right now and healthy at all key positions. They will be a little short on defensive backs but there offense is running like a well oiled machine. There defensive line is gonna be all over Rodgers with green bays o line in disarray. skins have been forcing a lot of turn overs lately. people are saying redskins played nobody and wouldn't be in the playoffs if they were in another division. Green bay wouldn't be in if it wasn't for a lucky hail mary.

And since the Packers week 7 bye, their wins were against the Vikings, Lions, Cowboys (on a hail mary) and the Raiders, not exactly top tier opponents.  The Packers only beat 3 teams with a winning record, and two of those wins came early against the Seahawks and Chiefs before they turned their respective seasons around.

Definitely my least favorite game--but there is zero chance I could lay money on Wash......Kc, Pitt Sea--yes chalky but easy winners--
