The Saints are always a good bet in night games in the Superdome, but if I'm correct on the Skins this year, Brees will have a hard time winning this game.
The Redskins have one of the most underrated secondary’s in the
league, and this year a QB that never turns the ball over in Alex Smith. Some
of the reasons I bet them to win the division at +660 in the preseason as I
expect them to keep the Eagles out of the playoffs this year. They have a very
tough test tonight against Brees in the Superdome, but I think they will be up
for the challenge. I’m not as impressed as most with the Saints road blowout
victory last week as the Giants weren’t the right side in that game. New
Orleans plays far better at home, but they still have to face a very tough
Redskins defense that will be as healthy as can be coming off a bye. The Skins
defense will still give up some points because the Saints offense is prolific
at home, but I think they’ll do enough ball control with the run game to limit
the scoring and have a chance for a victory.
Saints TT under 30 -120 (3x)
Redskins +6 -107 (1x)
NFL YTD: 43-10 ATS +75.04 Units

Thx LC. I have Saints pk part of the last play of a 4 team teaser from the weekend. Think I’ll hedge with Skins +12 and... shoot... over 46 or under 58?
under 58. I personally feel NO will run the ball more than usual against a terrible WAS run defense. I was thinking of doing exactly what you are doing with the teaser as i think this is a good spot for that, but eventually i settled on the under 52.

I live in the deep South, my local takes heavy heavy saints action. I should be able to get skins +7 at a minimum, I was leaning that way and the under, and a teaser with the under. Good to see you on the same side, I feel like the saints will be a very public pick but I think the Redskins have the better d and that gruden (and definitely Alex Smith) is very underrated.

Regardless of whether tonight's bet is a winner or not, and i know this is going to sound a little hippie, liberal, feng shui but I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart LC for all your analysis, The money you have made me is irrelevant, It's the knowledge i have learned from following you for a few years which has brought me to a point where i analyze games totally myself but knowing what to look for as a result of the fundamentals you have taught me from reading your analysis, Week in, Week out.
I feel like you're a HOF head coach and i was your offensive/defensive coordinator who has now moved into a head coaching job of his own, Thanks again my friend.
P.s. What Scalabrine said in the other thread about quitting while you're ahead wasn't coming from a negative place in my opinion, Nor is it deemed 'hating', To each their own. For me the money is secondary, It's the thrill of capping, It's the early morning capping, The late night capping, The joy of seeing the teams you put your hard earned money finish the job off, That to me is the be all and end all.
On Scalabrine, Hats off to that fella also, Man can he find a situational advantage, That Illinois/Rutgers thread was a fantastic read. How blessed are we, To have so many whiz kids ala LC, Vanzack, Scal, Suuma on this site? For all the noise on here, There's also a lot of quality.

Thanks for all the tips. Do you mind me asking what book you use? The only book I know that offer team totals is 5dimes and i rather not use them anymore.
Thanks
