Week 13... getting things started Thursday night!

Philly -8 vs Hous...i'll be surprised if this does not reach 10 by kickoff.  The perfect storm w/ Philly off a humbling loss in Chicago and Houston off a less than impressive beating of a QBless Titans team not looking so good of late.  Houston defensively is a seive and I can easily see Vick exploit some overwhelming mismatches if they can have just the slightest bit of patience w/ the ground game.  The #1 reason Philly lost to Chicago is because they allowed the Bears safties to sit on their heals all day w/ no threat of a consistent rushing attack.  The Bears allowed Eagles to run it giving up 5 per carry but for some reason Eagles got impatient.  McCoy has to touch the ball 17+ times and Vick will have this Houston secondary on it's knees.  Weather will not be an issue other than cold temps w/ the rain pulling out late Wed.  Home cookin big bounceback week for the Eags to stay ahead of the Giants.  Short week prep for Houst D coordinator has his hands full w/ what he's in store for against this speed. Blowout!!  31-13 more to come...

Chi -4 @ Det...jumping on board this one as well early as this can only go up w/ Stanton under center.  Too much flip floppin at QB for these guys to develop any real chemistry and Stanton has not impressed me in the least compared to what Hill and Stafford are capable of and have done thus far.  Bears defense = speed and fly to the ball.  On turf I only see them being faster.  I don't see any chance of a letdown game for the Bears w/ division so tight w/ the Pack and can easily see them have their way w/ a once impressive Lions team that is starting to show some warts now the QB switch again I don't see it even w/ 10 days rest

But that sieve defense just threw a shutout.

ooooh the rusty trumbone.....had one of those back in college,,,,it was great until she wanted to make out afterwards 

yehhh skip!!  2 weeks in a row finally starting to get things going.  Leaning rams, saints, viks, bucs and pats may play a couple of them still trying to figure some things out....went from loving dogs last week to likin a lot of favs this week....we'll see

St Louis -3  @ Ariz...Rams have been playing clean mistake free football of late which is the formula to beat the offenseless Cards who win games only when able to return kicks or turnovers for TDs.  Cards have packed it in.  For the division split and back to 500.

Minny -5.5 vs Buff...Viks played like a different team last week as I expected for their new and future head coach and I see that happening for the rest of this year. Viks gonna run roughshod on this defense and let Favre manage the game. Viks the superior team in every phase of this game although the # suggests otherwise I'm convinced these guys will continue to sell out for 60 minutes under Frazier.

NE -3.5 vs NYJ...was gonna play the Pats anyway but this loss of Leonhard just iced the play.  You can't replace your defensive back signal caller, starting safety and punt returner and not feel the impact of that loss.  Jets can lock down on Pats wideouts and take them out of the game all they want while Brady carves up the middle of the field w/ their talented tightends.  Jets are the more talented team matching it up on paper by position but the key position at QB there is no comparison.  Pats need this game for any real chance at the divison and just think the spot is too big for Sanchez to thrive in a primetime spot on the road. 

I've been riding Tampa weekly but laying off this week.  I'm actually leaning the other way so it''s a no play.  Just feeling Atl may get a big confidence boosting road win.  Locked and loaded!! BOL w/ your plays this week fellas!

That shit is overblown.  Leonard was the weak link of the secondary IMO.  I'd rather have the much bigger Eric Smith in there anyway.

Crash- I don't watch ESPN outside of games and scores but living here in NJ I get a lot of Giants and Jets info most outside the area do not and can say for certain that both Rex and D. Thurman both have sung the praises of Leonhard on several occasions this year on his  his importance to the team on many levels.

tsw-valid points on break away ability on returns for holmes and cromartie as well as physical tools of E . Smith but there is a trade off.  There's a reason Leonhard's the starter and punt returner.  With the ever changing wind patterns at the Meadowlands there is nobody more sure handed than Leonhard on punt returns and who knows what Monday will be like w/ the weather in NE.  It's risk reward gamble having a player w/ break away potential that has not fielded punts in game situations in a while and can prove costly.  As far as E. Smith he is no question  more physically gifted than Leonhard but he lacks what Leonhard brings in smarts and QBing that secondary which is vital, especially against Brady.  While not a devastating loss there's no question it's a significant loss for the Jets and it will show up at some point maybe not Monday but down the stretch.

smith looked wonderful in coverage on that mugging pass int on gronkowski.  Leonhard doesnt blow that... already a 7pt mistake.  yaaah not a significant loss my ass!
