it appears the Indy/Minnesota game is the hot topic of the week. why do you like Minnesota here, other than simply based on the week 1 performance of the Colts? It seems Joe Public perceives that the Colts looked terrible (and rusty) against the Bears when really a couple dropped passes could have made 14 pt swings twice in the game. Looking for your input, thanks.

i am inclined to take the points this week whenever i can. esp with teams at home.
i like Minnesota because Indy couldn't stop the run at all last week and that will into the Vikings strength. Forte ran through the first two lines and had to have Bob Sanders bring him down (or not) on the flip side, the Vikings top run defense will force Manning to throw and then shred their re-organized O line for pressure on him. two 0-1s and the PUBLIC thinks there is no way that INDY can go 0-2. thank again.

I respect the run D arguments, but Forte had a 50 yarder. Other than that, his other 22 carries only went for 73 yards. (Kevin Jones wasn't outstanding).
Also, on Minny's run D, their stats last year shouldn't really be considered, not just because it's a new season, but because their division contained some of the worst rushing teams (CHI and DET 2nd and 3rd to last). Last year's stats show the Colts' D allowed the fewest points allowed in the NFL. The way I see it, is Manning only needs a second to hit someone in the flats or on a slant to tear apart a pass Defense (which in Minny's case was the worst last year), and force the rush to show a little more respect.
Once again, Steett, I'm not trying to show doubt on your opinions, just presenting opposing points in order to stimulate more thought on each aspect of this game. No doubt it's the most intriguing matchup on the card. Such a tough call on the line, may lay off it anyways.
Also, do you lock in your wagers this early, or are they preliminary picks?
As always, BOL this week

I am curious, why Denver +2? San Diego is 4-0 ats in last 4 vs Denver. Denver just hammered Oakland on Mon. and SD lost a home game to JAX, the line should be DEN -3 or -2 accordinly.
And what's your take on NE/NYJ, PHI/DAL? Thanks and good luck!

You think that Washington can rebound this week. Their offense was pitiful last week. and their defense was definitely exposed with some holes. Just my thoughts. gl
