I gotta agree with the OP on this one. NE will roll over DEN and expose how bad of a team they really are... DEN is a joke, and hasn't shown me anything yet. They've faced three pretty bad teams on offense, with DAL being the "best" they've seen.

With NE, SD, BYE, BAL, PIT coming up, I see 4 straight L's for McMadsen (he looks like Mark Madsen!! anyone...anyone...?)

One thing I can't believe, Orton "the legend killer" hasn't thrown a pick! NOT ONE! I think he throws at least two in this game. Definitely like NE here, and am considering them on another card with a few other teams.

They're 4-0 after facing (CIN/CLE/OAK/DAL). Sorry, this doesn't WOW me, considering they BARELY beat CIN (fluke play), and DAL this past week.

Buckhalter is their leading rusher with about 66/game and Orton has a 59% completion percentage with about 217yds/game. To be honest, against those four defenses, he should be leading the league having Marshall/Royal/Scheff to throw to.

The only bright spots, Orton hasn't thrown any picks. Their D is giving up less than 240yds/game, but look who they faced... and of course Dumervil is a machine! (I happen to like him)

Buckhalter/Moreno have taken 'some' pressure off Orton, but this changes now Buck is down and the rook gets a crack at it.

As I said, you'll see the real Denver Broncos this Sunday when Brady and Moss roll into town.

I'm sorry but I'm not even going to go into why NYG, IND are better. But I'm also not sold on NYJ either. Sanchez is only looking good because their DEF is outstanding.

Dallas- 2-2 (dallas who you said did not impress you)

Bucs- 0-4

Chiefs- 0-4

 Dallas/Cin/Clev/Oak- Combined wins 6- Broncos

Jax/Mia/Arz/Sea- Combined wins 5- Indy

Redskins/Dall/Buccs/Chiefs Combined wins 4- Giants

Dont tell me the Broncos havent played anyone.. So please tell me why the Giants and Colts are better.

New England has played at Denver 5 times in the last ten years.  Denver is 3-2 in those meetings. 
 
Presumably, this means that Denver was 7-1 during the last 8 games of the 20th century.  In other words, before any of the people that are currently playing hit puberty, a bunch of people that are long gone beat another bunch of people that are long gone. 
 
Even the stat from the last 10 years is misleading.  The Patriots haven't played in Denver since the playoffs at the end of the 2005 season.  About 2/3 of the people that played in that game have moved on to other teams...or other careers. 
 
Why do people post stats like this?
 
Statistics get a bad rap because people are constantly throwing around junk stats....the kind of things that sound impressive but aren't remotely relevant.

Tom Brady is 1-3 thats very relevant.. but it doesnt matter the Pats are overvalued in this spot and will lose outright.

Be careful hear............all you NE backers...beware....TRAP door....New England on the road facing a improved defense and the genius from the 2007 New England offense (O-coordinator) now the Head coach and you know he knows some secrets ...I dont like it..New England not clicking on offense yet do to Tommy Boy still not 100% and the defense is giving up big yards ...I'm taking the points here in this one ..... not to mention New england 3-10 last 13 in Denver....

My point of the stat is that sometimes a team might have another teams number no matter who plays.

wow are you serious..what ranking would YOU give broncos then...minnesota is definately a better team than denver and plays in a harder conference..i think ur way too in luv wit denver rite now buddy...

Oh really? everybody wants to talk about who the Broncos have played and the lucky stokely catch. The vikings played sorry ass Cleveland, Sorry ass Detroit and that pass farve threw in the end zone was to greg lewis was lucky as hell. A green bay team whose offensive line couldnt block a lampost. Keep betting against the broncos this year and you will lose your money.

Let’s look at this last game against Dallas.  Because if they lose to Dallas, then the spread is a lot higher and we don’t get great value with NE.

Now, we can see why Dallas jumped out to a 10 point lead, looking like they were going to run away with it and then their O went to shit…  It was more on injuries rather then Denver’s D.

 

Ok, well what about Denver’s O.  They ripped it up.  Ahhh, NO…  Their Offense didn’t make it to the RedZone until 5 minutes left in the game.  Going 2-10 on 3rd downs..  I’m not going to go into it anymore.

 

The point is… New England is not the Dallas Cowboys.  And, the Denver Broncos are a little smoke and mirrors with their records. 

 

This isnt the New England team of old, and why New England has to be some kind of litmus test you pass to become an elite team cracks me up.. You again sir are falling into what im calling the Vegas headlock. Trust me if the situation comes up I will bet against the Broncos this year. McGenius has them playing smart, mistake free, physical football for 60 minutes. But like I told you last week talent again this weekend you will be a witness.

This game is going down to the end, Broncos win, at worse they cover.
