I got two books, and one book has Sea -2.5 (-110) and the other has Sea -1 (-122)
But the book with Sea -1 has Arizona +1 (+112) but Ari ML is +109... does this make any sense to you guys??? I like Seattle in this one, but seems like the book is trying to get Zona money... Or is this just a mistake on the books part???
Damn, I am stumped on this one...

Yeah, I'm thinking the same... Granted it was only preseason, but Zona QBs did not look good... Just wondering why all books jumped the line to -2.5 but this book stays at -1...
Ah hell with it... locked it in already for a little more than I am comfortable with... I am thinking Russell Wilson does really good for his first real game... Seattle D should be able to get to the QBs and cause some turnovers also...
Can't wait for the season to start!!!

Arizona has just as good of a defense as Seattle and a rookie qb in his 1st career start on the road laying chalk ballsy play if you take Seattle. Give me a veteran qb at home getting points vs a rookie qb making his debut.

"Zona wins by 10+, and the line is telling you the same......Too much Russell Wilson on espn."
Hey Train, was thinking the same thing as to maybe why the line has moved so much over the past 2 days... Regardless, I already locked it in... Just hoping I am right this time around, as I usually lose the plays I feel really confident in...
Just excited as the NFL season is right around the corner...

Yes Kolb is a veteran. He's been in the league since 207 . Skelton ok he's not a veteran but he has played a few seasons and had more experience than Wilson. These teams are even but even you add the road rookie factor and he is favored, that is just stupid.

Preseason games dont mean shit. RW is a good qb, but hes short (it will effect him...vision is huge) and threw a couple bombs that could have easily been picked off. On the road, 1st career game vs a solid starting NFL defense? I'll take my chances the other way....

This is a common misconception regarding Russel, the fact that he is short some how will affect his vision and get balls batted down too often at the line of scrimmage.
Per SI:
"Only two of Wilson's incompletions in 309 passes last season were deflected. Kellen Moore had five out of 439 batted down and Andrew Luck had two passes slapped down at the line in 404 attempts. In 402 attempts, Griffin had nine, and Brandon Weeden had eight out of 564 attempts swatted.
Ryan Tannehill attempted 531 passes but had a whopping 19 attempts rejected at the line of scrimmage. In his first preseason start last Friday, Tannehill continued this trend by getting four passes swatted at the line of scrimmage."
And that was playing behind a Wisconsin offensive line that in size would compare favorably with NFL caliber lineman.
The same things were said regarding Drew Brees coming out of college...

There's more to the height issue than balls being batted down, although I'll admit I do find those stats kind of surprising.
A short QB just can't see as much of what is going on downfield in terms of receivers and coverage as more of his view is blocked by his linemen.

But really can Zona move the ball at all? I know its preseason but they look horrible. If they cant get a working offensive line this team stands no chance at moving the ball.

I am thinking the same... Zona looked to have some O-line issues when their starters were playing this past weekend... Granted, it was only preseason... But I feel Seattle's D-line is a step up from Tenn's D-line and should be able to do the same to Zona... Zona QB's have not looked good in the preseason games either... Russell Wilson looked real good against KC's starters and hoping he will perform the same in his Pro debut...

Nice game to stay away from in week 1. I don't understand why anybody would be in a hurry to lay points on the road with a QB who was taking snaps in Madison,WI at this time last year.
Pete Carroll's Seahawks are 5-11 S/U on the road.
Zona won't be a good team this year, but this is a very winnable game for them under the circumstances.
