Happens in every industry in the world, people and teams in every business shit the bed sometimes. But definitely not indicative of a huge conspiracy involving the entire NFL or NCAA. Shit the bed sometimes? You are talking about a coincidence buddy. Now ask yourself how many coincidences have to occur before you realize it's not a coincidence anymore? 5?50. stupid plays, players doing dumb things, it's part of the plan. I remember betting on Manning in Denver against KC. Denver favored by 7. KC has the ball at the end of the game and if the game ends there, KC covers. My brother is losing his mind. Calls me up and is bitching that we're about to lose. I told him chill, just wait for it, KC is inside their own 10 yd line and Denver is about to get a turnover. I forget the rb name but he fumbles, Denver recovers and we win our bet. That was not a coincidence my friend. That was years of watching football with a point spread attached and how much Vegas would lose if KC covers. Did I know before the game it would come to that? No. But during the game you start to see things playing out. If you never believe it's rigged I'm extremely happy for you and I actually envy you. Look at my screen name. I used to be die hard. Not anymore. I'll bet against my Saints. I bet Carolina 2 weeks ago. The game doesn't mean as much as it used because the wizard opened my eyes. Keep your faith buddy. Don't peek behind the curtain.
Was that game #1/first week of that season?
