There's a lot of bitcoin millionaires out there. And Tesla millionaires. The young generation is all about "experiences". Just to say you were there, with Mahomes and Taylor Swift. People got money. How many super bowls have you been to? How many super bowls has the average person been to? The other day I saw some young guy on facebook selling a car for $339,000 with 500 miles on it. People certainly have the money. They just did more intelligent things to make it than betting on sports where 90% of people lose, whereas the stock market is up 100% of the time over any 10 year period in history. The S&P 500 was around 700 back in 2009. It's now 5,000, and that's not including quarterly dividends. That's 7x your money in 13.5 years.
This is very well said...there is a lot of young, easily found money type of richness and wealth running wild in North America due to early bitcoin and other tech billionaires...and as expected many new industries have been created with the sole purpose to separate these new wealthy youngsters from their fortune.
Expensive cars, fancy travel destinations for social media posting clout, high end designer brands like Balenciaga which have zero long term ROI but want these guys spending their money on useless bags for their side pieces, etc...new watered down Rolex type brands that are mass made that will never be as valuable as a Pitek , Constantin Vacheron, Omega, Audemars, IWC.
Let them spend their money on whatever they want and don't worry about it...it only feeds and fuels today's market of materialism.
6k a ticket seems like a bargain given what they originally were going for.

6k aint too bad. It's really not that much money in the big picture. Hyped up event in Las vegas too, 6k seems about right. Honestly its better that way anyway, separates the broke people. I wouldnt want to go to a superbowl event with brokies all around me thats just going to drag down the whole environment and vibe.

I would not do that even if I were a billionaire and CLV was the AFC champion. My reasoning would be "How the hell can I get $6,000 worth of entertainment by watching in person when much of the crowd will be rooting for the other team and I could have a better view at home?"
Also, what if you love beer but hate the macro crap that will be available? What if you want to eat Indian food or pickled herring while watching? What if you want your dog by your side? What if you want to watch it with your wife and she is afraid of flying? What if you NEED to go to the restroom right now and don't want to miss a single play? What if you want to watch it with your buddies who can't afford the tickets or refuse to spend $6,000 for that?
I wish I had that kind of money to splurge, but I still wouldn't.

OP, maybe if you hadn’t done all those drugs, you might have the money to go to the game. Yes they are expensive, I prefer watching important games on TV.
