Well i for one fancied the Pats to beat the Saints but after that display the Saints are the obvious favourites now.
I just have a sneaky feeling for the Vikes in the NFC, maybe it's just the fact that Favre is playing within himself. In the AFC, Indianapolis's luck WILL finally run out and I see the Chargers who are red hot atm coming through.
Chargers 30 Vikes 24.
Whos is everyone picking??

I have the Saints at 6-1 to win the NFC but I am picking the Vikings vs the Colts in the Super Bowl. 2 legend qb's in the final showdown. The line will be Colts -3

really dont see that line being more than a pick or -1 on a neutral field.

I happen to agree. In the above-referenced matchup if that were to happen I think everyone would be basically on the dog at 3 points or more. That is why I think that it would be closer to a pick too. The Superbowl is Tampa this year I believe so no advantage to dome teams. We will see but there are about four or five teams that if they get matched up this post season will be great football. I cannot wait!

IDK but I feel like MIN and NO are by far the two most impressive teams I have seen since the 07 Pats. I still think it is between Colts and Pats in AFC, slight edge to the Pats even as the road team. I think either will lose in the Bowl to the NFC team and would love to bet on the NFC right now to win the bowl...

Am I the only one who believes the Steelers still have a shot to make some noise?
At this point I don't even want to see them make the playoffs because everyone is going to be in for a big let-down. What is their defense going to do when they actually face a Top Shelf QB?

Unfortunately, as a Vikings fan, I'm going to have to say I was one of the people looking forward to the Aints getting buried on Monday night so I could start getting excited for a Superbowl appearance.
It didn't happen, and I think I have to admit the team I saw on that field were just as dominant as the Vikings have been the last couple weeks....but they did it against a non cupcake
I hope my Vikings surprise me with big wins in the next couple weeks against quality opponents, but until then, I think the obvious answer is
Saints/Colts

AFC not sure I trust Chargers in the playoffs with Norv. Curious if Cincy can rise up and play championship football when it counts....they swept the division.... and have been playing down to their competition. = complacency !!!! Hard not to lean Indy. even harder to count out Pats, no matter what happened on MNF. Pats won't have to visit the superdome for quite some time, they will be fine...and they have awesome game tape to show them how badly their secondary plays gut says INDY, because they have a machine at QB, and their D is surprisingly responsive.
NFC. Saints/Vikings !! every other team is a picture of mediocrity. and mediocre mediocrity at THAT! speaking of machines at QB...Drew Brees he will have this team good for awhile and with Sean will secure their legacy at some point.... just not this year imo. Going Legend bowl as well.... Indy/Vikings who wins? haven't the foggiest.....whoever wins the coin toss in the first OT in SB history? would be fun to watch.
watch as it turns out to be Cincy/Philly. anything can happen.

We all know the Ravens, Steelers will cause trouble in the playoffs..terms and conditions apply (if they make it into the playoffs).
The Saints can win all the regular season games they want, if im correct the Kansas City Chiefs went 13-0 under Dick Vermeille not to long ago and look what happened to them, if the Saints faced Arizona or Philadelphia or a Green Bay they could be a upset victim, the playoffs are a completely different kettle of fish.
Also Dallas might make noise aswell if theyre not favourite to win, as dogs they could bark. If Minnesota and New Orleans are both going to make it to the Championship game....the books will crumble theres bound to be a shock or two and i think New Orleans will fall victim to it. Minnesota vs New York or Green Bay, how fitting would it be to have a Minnesota vs Green Bay NFC Champsionship Game? and in the AFC New England vs Baltimore or Pittsburgh.
Baltimore or Pittsburgh vs Minnesota as the Superbowl and i cant decide who will win that.
p.s. The 1 or the 2 Seed usually gets beat in the divisional round thats why my predictions might seem far fetched, last year the Titans, Giants, Panthers....the year before the Cowboys, just look at the nba the Cavs fell, pro sports when it gets down to crunch time these so called "flashy" teams tend not to deliver no disrespect to the Saints.
