They are underdogs because it's a neutral field, playing against the defending Super Bowl champs and the team that the average fan thinks is the best team in the NFL.
They are also underdogs because people are oblivious to the fact that both of Miami's road losses came with a slew of injuries to very high-profile players, and they are underdogs because most people are oblivious to the fact that the Dolphins are going to start their best 11 players on defense for the first time this year, and that they will most likely get back Connor Williams, and possibly even Terron Armstead.
They should not be underdogs... and IF Williams and Armstead both play, not only will Miami DEFINITELY win this game, they will win it by double-digits, and that is the conservative prediction.

Gotta love recency bias. The Chiefs just lost, the Phins just won.
Let's say it was the other way around, KC off a win, Phins off a loss.
The line opens KC -3 no doubt.
Instead we get a KC -2.5 opener, and now they are -1.
The good guys here know where the value is

Miami can't control who their schedule makes them play. However, you disregarding the fact that they were missing 5 players who are all top 5 at their positions when they played the Eagles... tells me you aren't really an objective source of information on this team. Most teams don't have 5 players who are top 5 at their positions... Miami had 5 in street clothes. Of those 5, potentially 4 and almost certainly 3 will be back in the lineup this weekend, and in all probability all 5 will be back after their bye week.
Judging this team by what you saw against the Bills and Eagles will prove to be a mistake.

Who are the five top 5 players who missed the Eagles game?? Please do not say the overrated Jalen Ramsey is one of them. Are you also stated Achane is a top 5 rb? Great start but need more than a few games to crown him.
Miami had their team in place and both chances they have had to play a top team they have failed.

agreed and once they start to beat good teams they will be favored in these kind of games, and they are playing they defending superbowl champs with Mahomes. Better question, is why would Miami be favored??

Likely the points don't matter on this one. Just pick who you think the winner is going to be. I like that fact that Miami went to Germany a lot earlier. We saw that pay dividends for the Jags a few weeks ago. But KC off a loss is a big factor too. Either way it should be a good one.

Mahomes lost a game last week. Mahomes has lost back to back games three times in the 88 games he has played. As starting QB, this happened year 1, year 2 and year 4. Did not happen last year. Due for another b2b loss maybe??
SU off a loss 14-3
ATS is barely above .500 I believe.
Chiefs under Andy have only traveled across the pond one time, back in 2015 with Alex Smith and won. Mahomes and KC played in Mexico City and won.
McDaniel and Phins have no history of international play.
KC is 1-1 vs. Top 10 DVOA having split with Lions and Jags.
Miami is 0-2 vs. Top 10 DVOA.
Miami will be best offense KC has faced this season. KC will be best defense Miami has faced.
Line is right where it should be

If you don't think Ramsey is a top 5 CB, I don't need to know about any of your other opinions...
