Is this true since I lost the 2nd bet? I dont know how i could lose (165) on a 50 A&R?
 
Is this just a technology glitch?

You can't lose 165 on that play, you should lose 110, 55 each way.

these are some of the odds for the coin toss in a super bowl a couple years back....now why would the tails be +130 and the heads -110


Its because heads hits at a higher percentage

Or maybe it was tails that hit more...I can never remember...it seems like tails hit 5 or 6 times in a row in the Super Bowl and then finally last year it hit heads...

This year I am betting TAILS!!!

Speaking of coin flips.....It's the best bet to make on Super Bowl Sunday, a true 50/50 without any mathematical equation or human element to dictate the outcome. Two years ago, the flip was heads, last year I won several units on tails...kinda nice to have money in your pocket before the game even begins. This year, I'm staying with tails.

I made my previous post before reading the entire thread....

How did you find out the weight of the coin? While it may be true that one side of the "Super Bowl" coin may have more detail inscribed, that doesn't mean it heavier by volume. Do you really think parties of interest would really allow the NFL to design a coin that's unproportional in weight? As well, you mentioned the odds of the coin flip being tails +130 and heads -110....that's inaccurate. I've been betting the flip every year online and my sportsbooks always have the flip at 5% juice for both sides....that's a fact

That was just one of the lines that one of the books were offering, that was posted by someone else.

And I think the coin flip can be manipulated...Several years ago a kid flipped it and he just threw it up in the year and it came down the exact same as it went up, it never flipped a single time....and of course I was on the wrong end of that

I agree heads works like 90% of the time.  He is a total jerk for taking tails.
 
Since heads almost always comes up, here are some better ways to decide who gets the ball.
 
1) Rock paper scissors.
2) I am thinking of a number between 1 and 10 and whoever is closer.
3) A quick game or win-lose or draw.
4) combined wonderlic test scores (high scores gets ball)
