All the narratives of Mahomes in playoffs and Taylor swift ratings for superbowl may take a massive gut check. This Ravens team is just all around too solid. They know what’s at stake. Of course you can never count out Pat, but just have that feeling. Do you guys think it’ll be close regardless?

My gut originally said Ravens by 10-14 pts but with the assigned ref that we have im gonna say they win by 7. They'll give Mahomes a chance to try to tie the game up to send it to OT but just fall short.
Sip on that plus money honey!

I have the opposite feeling at times. My logic tells me that the Ravens will blow them out but the Chiefs are battle tested and have a history of performing well in big games. We don't have to wonder about Mahomes and big games but Lamar? So far when under the bright lights he has come up short.
IMO Lamar is under a lot of pressure to deliver on Sunday. Personally, I think he will, and is benefited with his new OC Todd Monken whose offensive system highlights LJ"s skill set and performance. Having Mark Andrews out there as his safety valve is a definite plus for 'Action Jackson'. I am pulling for him and I hope I have taken the right side but, there is danger everywhere. BOL

See where you’re coming from, there’s just so much of that thrown in our face. The ravens are the one team that can humanize and humble Mahomes. I do worry about the pressure on Lamar, but they are sound enough all around to mitigate some of that weight on his shoulders.

Yup, we shall never underestimate what the league is up to. The refs gave a big fat gift to the visiting Los Angeles Rams over New Orleans Saints in the 2018 NFC Championship game.

We could never figure out how the Swifty thing fitting into the equation for this game, DK. Hopefully, it won't.

Very tough gm to pick cuz there's just so many factors/angles that are unknowable in terms of how they'll actually play out. Somehow I envision the Raven leading 24/27 to 20 late with KC getting the ball back & having to drive 70/80yds for a tying or winning TD but get stopped on downs or an INT. We'll see...should be a good one!

I did not know this...when the refs miss a call like that, they fine the player, not the ref!!! Bahahahahahaha!!!! That's effing funny..
"Five days after the game, the NFL fined Robey-Coleman $26,739 for the play. A fine issued on a play where no penalty was called is the League's informal post hoc penalty for plays that likely should have been flagged. The fine was an admission that not only was the play a defensive pass interference violation, but it also should have been called a personal foul for an illegal hit on a defenseless receiver."

Yeah, refs got fined after the game ended. Thing is the Los Angeles Rams went on to the Super Bowl, and New Orleans Saints bite the dust and their fans got robbed. Los Angeles Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl at home, the newly built $5.5 billion Si-Fi Stadium, nice story.

I had the Saints in that one, I was so pissed. The worst most egregious call I've ever seen . If they pull something like that again I don't think I can watch the NFL anymore lol...

I got majority of my bet on the Saints too, only smaller ML and teasers on the Rams in that game, DK.
The risks of betting on the sports involve lots of factors as well as variances which are pretty hard to predict. So, I do like what Kurt Warner has to say in that TV section, something like: It's unpredictable, surprises happen. Set your limits, bet the games where you're affordable to lose and don't chase.
That being said, I like Ravens to cover in this game, DK.

Why? I think it's going to be a close game. Both teams play up to their potential, and it comes down to a tie game in the 4th QTR. Tucker's field goal is to win it.

not going to bet against Mahomes or the Swift nfl money grab possibilities ..... no stats or systems to back my pick...... just a feeling that Mahomes will win this game for his Chiefs. NFL games never makes sense, here is a perfect spot for the Chiefs to beat the "Ravens the best team in awhile" and go to the "Vegas Superbowl" with their new shinny pop superstar mascot! One of the best nfl final fours in years! GL to you all...
