Now, I am biased and have no play on the game as a result, but do you realize the following:
1) As a last place team last year, two of the Chiefs games were against horrible teams. Plus, their division was horrible this year.
2) The Ravens played AT the Jets, AT the Patriots, AT the Steelers, AT the Falcons, as well as playing the Steelers, Saints, and Bucs at home. Those seven games are arguably harder than ANY single team the Chiefs played.
3) Despite that schedule, the Ravens went 12-4 and led every single game except the Atlanta game after the third quarter. If they don't blow the New England game, the Ravens and Patriots both finish 13-3 and the Ravens are the #1 seed in the AFC.
It boggles my mind that the Ravens get no respect nationally. I think they are the second best team in the NFL behind New England. They should have gone 2-0 against the Steelers except for a dumb play call. Granted, could've should've doesn't count, but the Ravens have talent.
Not to mention the Ravens defensive strength is stopping the run and that's what KC predicates its offense on.
This is a perfect matchup for Baltimore and I don't see them losing in any circumstance, certainly not in a rout like you say. I think you're way off base.
