It is only Week 2, and this is a HUGE game!!!
Odds are, the NFC is going to go through GB or Seattle at the end of the year(although Zona and Atl looked tough). IF, GB is able to win Sunday night, they will in a way have a 3 game lead over Seattle owning the tie-breaker. That is HUGE, seeing the rest of the North didn't look very good, while the West looked strong.
Not having Jordy proved to be a bigger factor than I would have thought in week 1. GB didn't throw one deep ball Sunday, not one. And lets be honest, the Bears D is garbage. Seattles D does not worry me like it did in the past, but I expect Sherman to lock on Jones, so that means Adams and Cobb need to step up.
What worries me, if obviously GB's defense. They didnt play very well. Cutler had a few big runs, and had about 4-5 other times where he could have had big gains if he wanted to run again. If those chances are there Sunday, Wilson will get 100+ yds on the ground.
Being at home is HUGE. Even though GB is 0-3 in their last 3 games in Seattle (2 of which they should have won), this crowd Sunday Night is going to be absolutely insane. This game has been circled ever since that plane ride home last year and blowing that lead.
A win Sunday Night gives GB a great chance of home-field for the playoffs. If Nelson wasnt hurt, I would feel great about this game, but I still feel GB gets it done this week.
I would like to see Lacy more involved, and even a few deep balls just to spread the D out. But, if and its a big IF, the D can step up, GB has a great chance to win this game!!
Look for me when GB scores TDS, ill be catching players when they score TDS and do the LEAP in the 2nd row!!!
