People make sound arguments looking back at last season. That's fine and good. However, I haven't read a single mention of the Skins actually backing into the playoffs last year with a win against Dallas, who by the way had homefield locked-up and were "forced" to sit key players.
Now the Skins have a new rookie Head Coach, a new and fairly inexperienced Offensive Coordinator, with a new west coast offense. Sounds perfect for a home defense that has shuffled positions, (due to injury/retirement), yet is playing within a proven system.
I also believe the Giant offense as a whole is confident and determined to gain respect. Besides, Shockey was the party animal, Boss can play.
