First of all, 90% of stats in the NFL are worthless because the constant isn't the same for every team from week to week....too many variables exist. But to respond to your opinions, I'd like to objectively state that Green Bay was 10th in overall defense this season, giving up 336 yds/gm....118 on the ground and 218 through the air. WTF is wrong with these numbers????? As well, Green Bay was 4th in league in sacks with 47 and they're going against a SF offensive line that gave up the 8th most sacks this season with 41.
Just my 2 cents but i think with 2 weeks off, getting healthy and home field is too much ....
Jordy Nelson is also missing practice and he looked injured last game

This matchup caught my eye before we even knew they would play, and I think the line is totally justified, but I will still be on the Packers. It is a very scary matchup problem for Green Bay, having to stop San Francisco. They are definitely not a bad defense by any means, especially being back in good health along with the offense. San Francisco has a great rushing attack, but they do not convert that into many points, which is also true for Green Bay. In 2 of the 3 games where they were gashed by a strong running game they kept to opponent to 17 pts or less (I'm not looking it up, but I believe that's true). Rodgers is excellent under pressure and will not be phased by this defense, and San Francisco, while they have a nice matchup at RB to work with, simply will not be able to score more than 2 TD's, 3 if all goes well. The Packers are peaking and the 49ers have been unimpressive, their defensive numbers inflated by playing 6 games against the Seahawks (good team but not a high scoring offense), the Rams (who they failed to win against this season), and the lowly Cardinals. 30-20 Pack.

Now, tell us about how Arod was getting hit over and over again, and how SF will get to him and make him pay if he doesn't release fast enough...???
You mean like Seattle, who sacked him 80 bajillion times in the first half, had one of his worse games this year, and they still won that game.....albeit the Replacement Refs didnt see it that way.
