They also said they will have a lot of cap room this year too.
What does he have to lose I guess...they are the Rams, you cant fall off the floor...

exactly he gets the number 2 pick and gets to hand pick his front office
no brainer, remember he had McNair, Vince Young in Tennessee
Bradford may the deal if he can get some offense around him

Jeff Fisher has exactly 6 winning seasons in 17 full years as a head coach.
Since when is Bud Adams' favorite cabana boy a hot commodity in the coaching market ?
Fisher is in all seriousness, the most overrated guy on the market. I pity the poor folks in St. Louis.

the nfc west is the wekest division in football
he gets to chose his GM
Miami is in the afc east and he dont want none of that
He can draft Blackmon to get Bradford a top-teir weapon
=pretty cut and dried reasons

This. He get a nice check and if he turns it around hes awesome, and if not its cause the Rams suck. Its easy money.
Already got a pretty good d and o line. They really need to draft a couple of corners and recievers and a scat back like Marshall Faulk or Sproles....Jackson just wont cut it anymore.
They need to draft Blackmon with their 1st round pick. Give Bradford some hope. The pick a CB.....unless something crazy happens and they could and Alshon Jefferies.....

I have respected this guy motivation wise more than any coach in the league since 99, my first year watching, when he came back against my Rams in the Super Bowl and almost tied us to send it to OT, one of the best endings ever. He had to get his troops charged up from a huge deficit to get the job done. They were down big and it looked to go out of control and here is what he said:
“The game is not over! The game is not over! Look at them! They’re celebrating! Look at them! Last I heard you had to play 60 (*&^ minutes and they’re celebrating! Now go, go win the game!”
It is how he said it, barking the words out like a mad dog, frothing with Truth as well, stoking the competitor inside every one of his team just correctly, coming up with something primal and bringing it out of everyone around him. I hope it is on Youtube. 10/10 motivational speech. Look at the eyes of the guy who glances over—it was nuts. I do not know if I have ever seen someone look so pissed in my life. I think it was their TE Wycheck. But that was just a reflection of how they all felt. They seemed almost certain to comeback at that point from the standpoint of will. Awesome stuff, and they almost did the impossible and beat a team that felt destined to win.
If I
had to go to war, I’d go to war for Jeff Fisher.
Forgive me for getting my hopes up. I started watching the Rams in 99 and we had all the potential in the world. I always thought Jeff was awesome since that moment. We have been in the gutter and I like the symmetry of the same guy who almost beat us, and was as good as our coach, but different, to come back to save us. I finally have a shred of hope and please after 8 seasons do not take that away from me. There was literally a wasteland for a future by the looks of it, but we do have talent in key positions and it is nice to think it might not be wasted after all. Peace.
