Pitt had no Harrison or Clark. So you think just cause Denver outplayed Pitt 2nd half that they are going to roll through Falcons. Falcons play good at home. This one is tough. I would lean Atl. but if you got it at +3 take it. I see this line going down to +1 by game time.

Everybody is doubting Denver's D but come on people, Denver's D last year gave Pee-bow last minutes wins by holding their opponents to scoreless till the 4th quarter !!!!! I love that Manning is an addition to the Denver offense as they should roll!!!  Manny picks and chews out the defense as the game goes on...love a smart QB!

Are you really relying on Denver's D to win them this game?  Denver's D looked good towards the end of the year last year because they played every terrible QB in the league.  Lets look at how Denver's D did against pass heavy offenses last year.

Green Bay scored 49
Detroit scored 45
New England scored 41 and 45


Denver got lit up against every elite passing offense they faced last year.  What offseason moves did they make to fix this?

I appreciate all the input guys. That being said, although some of you may provide a decent argument, I still see a ton of value in Denver+3 and I have 2k on it at even money. Too me Denver +3 at even money is just too good to pass up. Maybe Im crazy but I see soo much value in this it's ridiculous. We shall see soon enough

I'm with you on this as well, I can always feel at ease when i put my money in Manning's hands!!!

Loving Denver too.
Atl lost their pro bowl DB in Grimes. They also can not establish the run. Manning is back in a dome. ATL looked good in week 1 against KC, but it's KC in week 1 lol. ATL's last game before KC? 24-2 loss to NYG in the playoffs. I don't see ATL stopping Denver's passing or running game whatsoever. Denver's defense is very underrated.

Gotta remember, Peyton isn't 100% yet, and Matt Ryan is.  I know you already placed the bet but if odds makers thought Denver was the right side they'd make the line 2.5 to invite more action on Atlanta.  BOL though, I've been wrong plenty.

Vegas Loves you.  All your money on one player in a team game.  Matty Ice is plain SICK at home as is ATL.  One of the tougher places to play, not too mention its their Home Opener.  Manning is GREAT!!! and will do some damage, but ATL has the offensive power to lead the charge.  The edge goes to ATL here and by more than 3 points.

Grimes going down is a big hit. Fortunately for the Falcons, they scooped up Asante Samuel from the Eagles in the offseason, who has played very good against Peyton in the past. Paired with Dunte Robinson, I still feel they have a strong secondary.

Denver at +3 is still very tempting, especially given the way Manning looked on Sunday night. Not sure if I will bet this one myself.

Man...anything can happen, but I agree, the value is just too good here at a field goal.  I expect big things from denver this year too, but only time will tell.  If Manning goes down their chances are gone, but if everything goes smoothly (knock on wood), they should win this one SU imo.  Peyton's experience and leadership wins this game...fuagetaboutit

much safer play is the over here. IMO either team can win this one.

Grimes out+in the dome on the turf and Atl new up tempo offense has 30's each written all over it.

remember this when taking dogs, the winner of the game covers the spread at OVER a 70% clip.( unsure of exact sample size, 1000 games if I remember right) If you like the +3 why not take the +140 also for a slightly smaller amount?

 forgot about the A.S. pickup. Is he 100% of his old self?

 Johnny---You make a very good point about knowing who fills in for the guy who is sitting out.  Many of us just see one layer of the equation when it comes to injuries. need to learn to dig a bit deeper.

That being said, the over looks great here, as everyone else has said...(injuries, indoors, both offenses are pass oriented)

DEN Def might be decent, but Ryan has multiple weapons at his disposal!! I was leaning the Falcons play, but ended up pulling the Over 51 trigger -110
