@bouncer07 Sure and didn’t say that the NFC has to win the SB this year to ‘even things out’ ?? because it’s all scripted right ? a moron says what ??
You aren't proving anything wrong. Just being contradictory. It's incredibly more absurd to think billion dollar business don't manipulate things to their liking, to continue making more and more.
It's also why fools wear masks in the streets. They believe and obey what tv tells them

Nothing is absolute. There are games that are really "fixed". Like Soprano style fixed. Some player or two owe gambling money they can't pay. In football that can be a kicker. In basketball any player can shave the points as long as he's on the floor. The coaches etc. That happens in College level. There are games that are manipulated by the refs assigned. The League does it. There are games manipulated by both teams - that happens on prime time single games and has usually to do with totals (under in the last game of the night either in baseball, football). Basketball is the easiest to manipulate from the floor because of so many variables at hand as free throws, fouls. The refs can easily manipulate the totals by letting or not letting the players getting physical. When they want under they let the defenses play without whistling on any contact. When over is wanted every single contact is whistled. In football it is easy to manipulate sides by the refs as on each play they can and will or can and won't find holding call. But, mostly - it is great entertainment and we the bettors feel or think much more games are manipulated or fixed than they are in reality.
Blaming your losses on fixes is idiotic. If you know the games are fixed you either have to stay away or be on the right side of that fix. Otherwise you must be an idiot to risk your money on something you believe is fixed
Don't overthink it

Good reply with the WWE reference. Some are now posting that the games are rigged or fixed before they are played, but are still betting and likely losing. Maybe Covers can add another Forum titled "Rigged and Scripted". The scary thing is they may actually believe it. Moron is too kind of a word to describe the ''sports betting consiparcy theorists''. Stupid and just plain ignorant are two better ones.

More insults with absolutely no ability to prove the games are honest.
Again, pay close attention. Gambling and pro football was founded by the mafia to begin with.
It's easier to fool someone, then to convince them they've been fooled

I hate, literally hate, all of the scripted games talk but I can't find one thing to disagree with in this post. You nail it. There will always be fixed games. There will always be some kid that owes someone some money. Some wiseguy giving a bag to some 6th man at a small college. Of course he's taking that money. There will always be refs affecting games for their own financial interest, or for the interest of the league. (The tuck-rule game, The 2002 Western Conference finals) All games aren't all on the up and up and basketball is the easiest game to affect but to believe that the outcome of every game is scripted, especially in football, is madness.
TIME TO BRING BACK THE OBAMA CAGES!

The various comments & name calling as well towards one another are brutal & insulting to say the least this week are continuing to be annoying as H*ll.
They just go on & on & on the drama continues

It's MOronic .... if only for the reason it's pointless to worry about something totally out of your control..... >> even more idiotic, if you A. believe it's 'fixed' B. still bet on it C. then come here to complain that game you bet on was fixed IF the shoe fits ...maybe come back when you piss standing up ..........
Believe? It is.
It unquestionably is.
And in england you can bet on american pro wrestling. And the nfl now blatantly endorses gambling. What better way to make money off you than to manipulate heavily bet on outcomes
How many times are people going to keep complaining how bad the refs are? If they are being bad that often, it means they are doing exactly what they were told.

I know it's rigged but I still bet on it. Sometimes I'm on the right side and other times I'm not. I've made bigger bets based on the fact I thought that game would be rigged and I was right. I remember when Espn was trash talking Kapernick I think it was saying he was done. I was already on SF and once I saw that I added a substantial amount to my bet. It paid off. Espn was just trying to get people on the wrong side.
I gamble but it's pocket change. Once I lose it I wait until the following year. I lost my starting bankroll in early October. I haven't bet since. I might play this weekend.

Think its time for Covers to have a Sports Entertainment Forum. Be easier to navigate thru all these dumb ass posts for a couple of pieces of interesting NFL information.
And before you respond, re-read Bookieassassin's post. Seriously, closely read those three bullet points. Then consider your next post about the rigged league.

better yet transfer them to the PB Forum as another suggestion

Censorship is usually a first sign of being right about something. You're unable to prove it wrong , so you put it away
