- Only dogs of +120 or better
- Home advantage means SQUAT

Anyways.... Would you consider playing the Sens tonight as they are +113 at home ?

Can you please explain how to make a "-1 puck line" to us newbies? I was thinking it is betting the favorite ML and the dog +1.5, but do these numbers really work? 

If I bet the favorite ML -140 and the dog +1.5 - 265, at $100 per bet, if the favorite wins outright by greater than 1 goal I win $71.34 and am down $27.66, and if the dog wins outright, I win $37.85 and am down $62.15. I have to middle the action to win anything. That is not what you are suggesting is it?

JR, you have to combine both bets for 1u. There is a math formula to it. Basically a portion of the unit goes to the ML and a portion goes to the Puck Line. This makes it so that if the ML hits and the PL doesn't (a 1 goal game), your ML win pays out your PL loss so you break even. If they win by 2 you win both bets.

Tell me about it GA, every single year I hear about but wait...."Home and the last line change"   Yes it helps but not enough to turn a game

Lipps, your thoughts...any credence on teams having missed the playoffs last year all losing last night? Pressure and anxiousness of the playoffs? Probably not, but did cross my mind. In any case, that doesn't bode well for Leafs and Flames if it holds its' course.

Last night went almost as good as can be expected.  First off let me say I only play a few bucks on this bet so I will be playing the 3 games tonight based on this system.

However.....

If I were a big time player wagering a full unit or more with a sizable amount I would strongly consider passing on the 3 games tonight and either booking my 3U profit(give or take) and the very least play the second game CLB and worst case be up 2U

The reason...

The 3 games tonight were easily the 3 most likely for the home team to win both games at home, I know the odds are going to be great for Leafs and Preds and good for Flames but realistically you have to ask yourself is the risk/reward worth it? If it were me I would say know and take my 3U and move on to round 2 with money in the bank.
