TB tries to close things out tonight and a game 7 tomorrow in Rangerland

So how often does a team close things out in game 6 at home ? How about a 60% rate. 

How about the Rangers going for that game 7 win at home ?  I mean game 7 slam dunk right ?? Not so fast, going by the 2-2-1-1-1 format the home team has won at just a 58% rate.  Not bad, but you would think it would be a bit higher.

RANGERS WANT MORE GAME 7 DOMINANCE

As the Rangers prepare for tonight's Game 7, they can know that history is on their side. With a win, they'd tie the NHL record for six consecutive Game 7 wins.

- Never lost a Game 7 at home (6-0 in team history)

- Have won 5 consecutive Game 7's, one shy of NHL record

- Can become first team in postseason history to overcome 3-1 series deficit in consecutive years

The stats are great and all but we saw how drained the Habs looked last night in trying to force a game 7. Winning 2 straight against a fast and lethal Bolts team looked like it took its toll.  Do the Rags have enough in the tank to take 3 straight from this big physical Caps team?  This game should be epic

PS: Thought this may be funny. Years ago, god probably like 8 or 9 one of you guys set up a playoff Hockey challenge, like bets picks combined with who on the cup etc. I forget actually and the prize was a covers shirt. well here it is. I have to say good bye as it has become so hole ridden my wife demanded it. But good stuff from years past. Love this form i actually made it my avatar as I don't know how to upload onto thread
