Ah! had the over of the NYR/VAN game in my leans! I see its 3-2 early! Not even watching.

I liked their top 6 even after all the trades so expected they might score a few against VAN but their defense is still very suspect.

Oh well.

Yeah, Buffalo...they've had fun being spoilers on a few -300+ lines so far this year.

DAL -160 *half unit* This line is a little high for my liking but there are a few things to factor in. Dallas is playing in a revenge situation as they lost in Tampa 1-6 much earlier this season. But, that was when Tampa could do no wrong. They win a lot of games because they do have talent, but cracks have shown in the foundation the last two months, especially defensively and that issue has yet to be taken care of as McDonaugh still isn’t in the lineup. They also have to deal with their leading scorer Kucherov missing tonight’s game and incorporating J.T. Miller, so things could be “off” cohesively for this team at the moment. Heading into Dallas, starting Louis Domingue and playing the second of a B2B, I have to side with the home team here, who, as this season has progressed has shown to be a very stingy defensive team (4 in the league).

DAL -1 ½ +180 *half unit*

PHL -145 *half unit* Philly squeaked by Montreal last time out for a 1-0 win in a shoot-out. That wasn’t the struggle the final box score may have suggested. They played well, especially for a road game, but so did Charlie Lindgren. Gotta give him credit. I look at it as this Philly team is finding different ways to win which is a great thing for Flyers fans. I think they have too much confidence and momentum which is the exact opposite of this Carolina team here tonight.

PHL -1 ½ +205 *half unit*

*edit* I made it seem that Kucherov is out of tonight's game when that is not yet confirmed. Just wanted to be clear on that. My mistake. He actually skated in today's optional skate so could be a game-time call. If he plays, I might hedge and basically pass on those two bets.

The over was my original lean but it was when I saw Kucherov potentially out and how well Dallas has been in terms of not allowing goals, those two things made me slide to the side on Dallas instead.

But 5.5 for this game is still very enticing. Good luck with it. I'll take a 4-2 Dallas win for both of us to come out ahead!
