DAL -1 ½ +135Ben Bishop’s stellar numbers on home ice versus a downward spiraling mess of a NY Rangers team. Rangers are missing Kreider, Vesey, Buchnevich and Shattenkirk which really has shown to stall out this team offensively. This team only has 6 wins in its last 18 games and if you throw out the strange 6-5 anomaly win they had against SJS, they have looked absolutely listless sandwiching that win with 5 other losses and being outscored 22-8. Defensively they have been a mess, giving up 3 or more goals in at least 7-straight now. Lundqvist stats are dropping as he can’t carry the load against a team simply falling apart in front of him. Look for Seguin, Radulov and Benn to wreak havoc in the Rangers defensive zone throughout the game. Ranger games have gone over the # in 8 of the last 10 so lean the over here as well. Pred: Stars win 5-1.
NASH -140Preds are 8-1-1 in their last 10 and have outscored the opposition 31-17 over that span. They lost Filip Forsberg to a suspension but have already showed they can win games without him (7-2-1 while he was injured). The Isles have shown all year they can score but they’ve also shown that they give up goals in bunches, to the tune of second most in the league. The Preds can score, have a high-end Power Play, and they don’t give up goals. I’ll take that combo against a bottom-tier defensive team like the one in Brooklyn.
TB -130EDM has been inconsistent all season long, which is the exact opposite of what Tampa has shown itself to be. Now they get to play the best team in the league at home before embarking on a big 3-game western swing. Never like to say a team is looking past any given team, let alone the best in the league, but that’s a potential spot here as The Oilers season hangs by a thread which is determined by this upcoming month and slate of divisional games, which start Wednesday. That, plus…they’re really not so good and Tampa Bay is.
Good luck, everybody!

Whats your take or lean on leafs ducks? I have stars and leafs parlayed -1.5 already
Not a game I really like. Leafs have been playing well as has Anaheim. I'm writing this as Leafs are up 1-0 after 1 but I personbally would lean ANA here. I think they're a more veteren more physical team whereas I feel the Leafs wilt alittle against tougher smarter opposition. Just my opinion. Had I liked either side, I would have bet it, personally.
You're halfway to your PL win, though so good luck to you!

Dallas will probably losehad bad beat with isles losing in otlosing with ducks. If I go 2-2 (hoping oilers/Dallas wakes up!!)that will be miracle. Need to do better picking games/quit betting tennis and focus on winning all my my hickey bets.

You don't need Dallas to wake up. They're dominating the game. You just need them to keep playing like they are. Lundqvist is the reason Dallas isn't up 3-1, 4-1 right now.

No joke. I am so effing tired of losing PL bets and overs because the team I bet on can't score an fcuking empty net and just as tired of losing unders when those same teams score a goddamn empty net. Works against me every mother-fcuking goddamn time without fail.

Yep! Both teams when down early I played the puck line with some juicy plus lines NY and like you said an empty netter an empty netter for christ sake!....Fans shoot at half time from center ice thru a cut out slot set up in front of the net to make it a bit harder for the novice for crying out loud and a good amount of those fans get it in for a round trip ticket to fly and the professionals struggle with it? How! How! How!

BOS -141My poor Blueshirts. Problems with this team go back much further into the season than every-day fans realize. Whereas this team put together a nice record to bounce-back from a disastrous opening month, the truth of the matter was, that while winning games they were a statistical anomaly as they also sported the second worst puck possession stats in the league behind Arizona, so outside of Lundqvist stealing games for them (despite LeRinkRat saying he has sucked all year long), the wins ultimately weren’t making a lot of sense…and more than likely a course correction in results was looming. Enter the Kreider injury which was big….then more injuries. Heading in to tonight’s game, NYR are missing Vesey, Buchnevich, Staal and Shattenkirk as well. The team cannot sustain offensive zone pressure and with Brendan Smith taking a huge step backwards this season, the defense has followed suit and have looked an absolute mess. They give up entirely too many quality scoring chances and create entirely too few in the other end.
BOS -1 ½ +205 *half unit*
LAK -126A lot of people will probably be on the surging Oilers but I prefer the home team that still ranks 2 in the league in goals allowed playing in front of a surging goalie as well. Darcy Kuemper is likely but not confirmed at this point and this Kings side pends on his confirmation otherwise I’m off this current lean. Overall, he has a .943 Save% and 1.76 GAA when called upon and has only allowed 1 goal in his last 3+ games.

I get that on theice they're not looking to always put one in but you'd think odds are they would now and again when I needed it. I've had some very bad luck getting the empty netter when I needed it and vice versa.

Hopped on the Bruins -3 1/2 -190 live action when they went up 5-1 (it was-170 at 4-1 when I was about to bet it but they scored SH just before I could finalize) so nabbed that for another hundo. Didn't post it though so won't include it on my posted record here. But for my pocket...bueno.
