Being a Flyers fan has been hopeless BUT I think it is better than being a Maple Leafs fan

Leafs have had the talent for sometime and there is always a way forward when the playoffs finally roll around but damn they just disappoint spectacularly year after year after year. Just brutal.  NHL Playoffs have been electric but NBA playoffs are a lead balloon.  Watched one of the dopey sports shows trying to talk up the NBA but clearly there is firm reasoning that even with huge public teams the ratings are crap as the games are all boring blowouts with players past their primes or underachieving players in their primes. You could not pay me to watch the Sixers but would be very eager to watch the Flyers make a playoff run.

Yep.  Leaf fans feel entitled to Lord Stanley&#x2019;s cup for some reason.  They told Brian Burke to get it done&#x2026;.then called him a &#x201C;one Cup wonder&#x201D;.  As if luck has nothing to do with it, most GMs won&#x2019;t win a single cup during their career, and you can just wheel and deal your way into a Stanley Cup because other teams are always ready to give up their stars to the Leafs for a scrub who, according to deluded Leaf fans, can supposedly &#x201C;help&#x201D; that team.
