BOL.

A buddy of mine just made me a $100 wager that Washington will get shutout tonight, 3:1 odds. I took it in a heart beat.

This game has 4-3 written all over it.

Pepper Frenchie comments? hmmm sounds like some sort of Quebecois Porn-Star? lol. Ok, not sure what you mean by that, unless you mean my usual hate-on for Les Habidonts (which, I think I've explained previously - I am a huge B's fan so it is an oil/water dynamic, to say the least; however, as I've also stated, everyone needs their nemesis and it would be hard to envision a league without said Habidonts). And once again, for the record, my hate-on for Les Habidonts has nothing to do with any sort of prejudicial aspect against the French. As I have stated now on numerous occasions I was a huge fan of Les Nordiques (not to mention I think the city of Montreal is outstanding)

As concerns your Ovechkin comments, yes he plays on the edge and yes he's in your face. Those ingredients, however, coupled with the fact the guy is just out of this world skill and compete-level wise, would seem to indicate to me (and anyone who is a hockey fan - whether casual or a long-time-standing one , for that matter) that this is someone you would absolutely LOVE to have on your hockey team (unlike that @#$@ bum Semin, who is the biggest @#$@ floater on the entire planet - and don't get me started because I do have him in a few pools as well as a keeper league).

Finally, I too am a huge Crosby proponent so no need to even go there. In a nutshell, Sid the Kid is gold. I would just add that we are extremely fortunate to be able to watch both these guys in action.

Actually Flutie most teams do play better on the road (ie: Flyers 2 of 4 wins; Ottawa both wins) The thing about the Caps is that they had such a solid record at home this year and to envision them dropping 2 of 3 games at home in this series is asking a lot.

I was  on Ottawa +245 last night (mainly because I also picked Pens in 6 @ +350)  but this is a mighty tall task. I think blowing that lead in broke the Habs.

 

And trust me, the Penguins will win tomorrow night, so don't get frisky on the Sens.

No, If I had to make a play it would be the Caps -1.5. But since I don't have to make a play.........I won't.

Well actually I do have a wager here.  Caps ML...I have them to win the series 4-1.  So yeah........I do have a wager on the Caps.

There is ONE reason and one reason only. He is Canadian and the NHL's prodigal son. The NHL has NEVER promoted a foreign player and never will.

P.S betting with your heart and not your head is a quick way to the poor house. The Caps back at home tonight will turn it on. Halak will have more rubber shot at him than a hooker.

Could have been 5 - 1 Montreal...except for hitting those goal posts

 I dont care what anyone says...Montreal has played excellent all series long against the number 1 team in the league
