blackhawks and caps are both in huge trouble

i dont care how many pts these 2 teams have they are in huge trouble in the playoffs. The goaltending on both teams is disgraceful and there defenses are not much better. both teams will go down to teams that can score and have strong goaltending.

Last night I went and put down a few units on the Devils to win the cup.

its true goaltending has been shoddy all around but particularly with these 2 teams especially the caps.

i gave the hawks one more chance today to win, but i write them off any chance of winning the cup, dont be surpised if an outsider wins the cup this year

dont think it's wise to go against the blues during their stretch. they proved that last season.

wings are playing awesome hockey right now. i wouldnt want to play them. canucks will be very tough in the playoffs.

in the east a healthy pens are the champions. ott is dangerous. devils if they can play complete hockey will be dangerous.

as I watched the Hawks shit on my $ tonight I was thinking the same thing

this years playoffs will be about picking against teams you trust less rather than teams you actually think are the best

lots of flawed teams out there

The Caps will be ok imo, Theodore will be up for the challenge when the REAL season begins. It's a long season, and after securing the #1 seed in the East a couple nights ago with that Devils loss, Boudreau is resting players like Brooks Laich who nearly got his eye socket caved-in, and it's hard to expect the same intensity as the seaon winds down that Washington played with all year. Not sure about Chicago, but if we end up playing them in the Cup, I for one like Washington's chances, and we would be favored, no doubt.

I am more worried about the dumb penalties/our penalty-killing units in the postseason frankly, but having home-ice throughout will be nice, playing in the Phone Booth is a big advantage, has been all season long. It also doesn't hurt that the Caps simply score more goals than every other team in the NHL, and their own PP is downright nasty...

No need to panic. Theres no reason for teams that are comfortably in the playoffs to play desperate hockey.

Just pre-playoffs  slump ,,,teams prob limiting top players ice time to rest them for the run for the cup....
