So the Caps are in a mini-slump right now, but this was bound to happen at some point since they have had NO PRESSURE on them for the last couple months.

Theo was playing extremely well up until about a week ago, there is no reason he can't regain that form in the playoffs.  If he doesn't we have Varlamov, who is certainly capable of a playoff run.  Honestly, Buffalo (and probably New Jersey) are the only teams I have seen that can pretty much count on having a good goaltender in the playoffs, but the Sabres offense is anemic.  Everyone else needs their goaltender to get hot at the right time. 

I'll take the best offense, special teams, and scorer in the league and be confident that we can get enough goaltending to get by.

Well I'm only 26, and not tied-down yet, but if I were to (figuratively) take the plunge with a hockey team this year I think the Caps are more on the Kate Beckinsale/Marisa Miller/Miranda Kerr level, and the Pens are kinda like Jessica Simpson/Britney Spears... formerly on top.  Still bangable, but a little busted up and not too reliable.
