I play 80% dogs so I expect and bet on the unexpected. Ottawa had a good stretch end of November so they are not playing that terribly. At present Boston and Caps are the only teams atm to rely on (almost) to give a good performance night after night. Islanders and Blues in a little dip. Even then never trust enough for a paraly.
Parlays generally are bad bets especially with NHL it is the most unpredictable of all the major sports and with 82 games it is difficult to play flat out every game so all the top teams lose regularly two unlucky deflections and your bet is lost. Look for valuable dogs.
Same with overs and unders I don't play them but some here have a real talent at betting these.

OTT was on 10-1 tear @EDM, despite only a few of those being at Rogers. Tough to put stock in something spanning several years, but I had a bad feeling with Oil losing 4 of their last 5 at home and only winning vs the ever-charitable Devils. For me, the matchup came down to a difficulty of knowing what to expect from Sens who have the youngest defense in the league. Most of the time I want to fade them, but that backfires at times.

What Ramboo said, Koskinen was terrible last night.
Also, no Nugent-Hopkins.
I had the Oilers +1.5 alt line in a parlay. Didn't matter though, as I had it with Avs/Leafs over 4.5 which lost. Other leg hit with Caps.

Edmonton, with out a doubt flushes tonnes of money.
Can't be trusted in easiest of spots. Regulation wins can be sucker bets too. They know they have better chance if game goes to 3 on 3.
Demote the whole franchise to the AHL as far as I'm concerned. Getting blown out by a team that played in Vancouver the night before not to mention a bad team is a disgrace.
