What's Knuble doing they just called the crosscheck penalty on the Pens stupid play by him! The second call was cheap though. Shit way to lose a game 5 on 3 in OT.

well i can see there is no point arguing with the guy who has the Fleury avatar

penalty on Carter was a joke, Knuble's penalty was a dive

After you get a PP  in OT  you've got to understand that you're prob getting the next call against you.

You know the sad thing back when they used wood sticks that wouldn't of been a penalty that slash these composite sticks break like nothing.

they had to call the obvious slash, but they put themselves in a stupid position by calling the chincy cross check on Knuble that was clearly going on the mentality that 'Philly had to get the next one because it's OT.' Which is why it's a joke.

The call on Knuble was the exact same call on Gill when he hit Briere so it was a call the refs had to make. The second call you let it go they didn't call that all game then they do in OT! That's the call i would be mad at. You don't put a team down 2 guys unless its a scoring chance.

It wasn't a hard slash but as soon as the ref sees the stick break bingo.

I'm not blaming the refs at all Philly couldn't get it done in reg and killed themselves in OT. Philly had a chance in OT on the PP and took 2 bad penalties to lose it .

I'm a Penguins fan and I thought they got out played almost the whole game tonight. "Flower" saved their ass and, once again, the Flyers self destructed late with those penalties.

 

hate to say it BUT I wouldn't be the least bit suprised if this series didn't come back to Pittsburgh for game 5 tied 2-2. both teams very close matched.

Biron played well tonight but Fleury made that save on Carter was the TSN turning point of that game. Pit picked up the intensity after that save.

I can't see Philly winning 4 out of 5 games pens in the drivers seat that's the game Philly NEEDED.

they are closely matched but the biggest factor has been and will continue to be  Fleury.     I may be biased but MAF has a much better chance of maintaining a high level of play than Biron does.

Have to disagree with you LRR, I thought it was a pretty even game tonight. I thought the Penguins took it to them early but then Philly weathered the storm and I thought both goalies played really well. Fleury let a bad one in on the second one, but more than made up for it with his save. I thought Briere, was a little more visible for the Flyers tonight and I thought the Flyers did a good job of getting in front of a lot of Penguin shots.  I felt sorry for Giroux, I was surprised when they mentioned he was a -3 in the first game, because he was one of the few that were really hustling in game 1. Sure has some great potential. I really like, how Kennedy and Cooke, were bringing some good energy with the third line tonight.  The biggest surprise to me so far in this series, is that the Penguins are out hitting the Flyers thus far. Should be an entertaning game 3.
