Lots of tough matchups and this is great for pucks. 

Can't believe we have hit playoffs and you get these crazy odds such as the Avs and Flames game. Not so easy come playoffs.

Who is the dark horse? 

Avs looked vulnerable as the season came to a close but they were likely looking toward the playoffs as their only focus. Nash has played Avs well and they have scored on Avs but overall I haven't seen enough from them this season. Their goaltender was hot for a while and then cooled down before I exited here. They have good scorers but not deep like Avs. Also Colorado has stars on D and during playoffs some of these players might stand out big time. I have Avs having little issue with Nash in this series.

Flames series is tough as hell. Dallas has all the tools to stay in the series but their numbers don't tell you that. Remember when Stars went to the Finals? They still have a lot of that roster intact. They appear to be healthy as well but I'm not going against Sutter. Instead I like the Unders in this series. 

Did anyone watch the Canes game? I wonder if their backup can pull off that kind of performance again tomorrow. 

 Take note of what the playoffs bring... look at Florida in this game. They have not played like that at home in how long? They are up but definitely not looking like the Florida team we have gotten use to watching. Newsflash: Maybe it's because they know if they go down 2-3 in the playoffs they aren't coming back to win. So better limit the mistakes here.

 boston played great the 1st period but raanta kept it 0-0 and then the canes scored and went from there

 Bruins had all kinds of scoring chances but Raanta was nuts. I did like what I saw from Canes as the game went on. They are the better team but I doubted their backup. 

The way Canes entered the playoffs = the kind of team I want to bet on. 

well hopefully panthers get 1 more PP and that tramp huby throws another on net

Raanta is capable.  He has just been injury prone over his career, but his numbers are solid.  Hold down the fort until Andersen is back.
