LA Kings @ NY Rangers Game 4
reasons the Kings will win. they have "Mo" winning the first three games, the first two in OT coming back from being down 0-2 in each game. Rangers seemed completely "bamboozled" against Quick in Game 3 and Lundqvist has been unusually "loose" so far this series with at least 3 GA's in each game. Kings have shown they are the bigger, tougher team and are murder when they get their "smash mouth" forecheck going. Quick always seems to come up big in "money" games
reasons the Rangers will win. they have been close every game. the last 0-3 loss in Game 3 is somewhat misleading as they outshot the Kings 32-15. have shown they have the faster team with their speed and have had numerous "breakaway" chances. were in a similar situation in the Penguins series and won 3 straight. Lundqvist has shown he is capable of shutting other teams down in previous series when "the chips are down" esp @ MSG. had 1 GA games to win Game 7 vs Flyers, Games 5 thru 7 vs Penguins and a shutout in Game 6 to close out the Canadiens
the Kings have had problems "closing out" teams in the past. were up 3-0 vs Devils in 2012 and lost the next two before finally winning the Cup in game 6. just last round these playoffs won three straight after losing Game 1 to the Blackhawks BUT lost the next two to force a Game 7 (which they did WIN in OT).
once again Game 4 probably comes down to the Rangers "breakaway" team speed vs the Kings "smash mouth" forecheck AND Quick vs Lundqvist.
