Great home team in TB back from a road trip (last played on 18th) against one of the worst teams in the league in a b2b. TB beat Anaheim back in October 4-2 (in ANA). Lightning are 3-1 vs. the Ducks over the last three seasons. The Duck have lost 5 straight with all games going over except 1 which pushed. This is 3 games in 4 nights for Ducks. Ducks are 1-8 in their last 9 games playing on 0 days rest. TB is an insane -530!
DET @ WASH. Expected goalies: Husso v. Kempfer.
Detroit is 7-3 in their L10 and WASH is the inverse of that. They've played twice this season. Detroit won at home 3-1 in November and Washington won at home in OT 4-3. Caps have lost 4 straight. Both teams last played on the 18th. Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings. Red Wings are 3-11 in the last 14 meetings in Washington. Detroit has 3 games in hand and is 2 points behind Washington in the chase for a Wildcard spot. Big game here for both.
MONT @ NJ. Expected goalies: Montembeault v. Vanecek.
NJ is in a 3 games in 4 nights and 4 in 6 nights spot. Devils are 4-0 in their last 4 in the third game of a 3-in-4 situation. NJ beat Montreal 5-1 in Montreal back in November. Montreal is coming off 2 sizable losses to Toronto and Carolina. In Jersey's last game against the Jets, the commentators felt the Devils were back to early season form.
STL @ CAR. Expected goalies: Binnington v. Andersen.
Carolina beat STL in STL 6-4 back in December. STL is in a 3-in-4 and 4-in-6 spot. STL was just blown out by Ottawa. Blues are 1-5 in their last 6 games playing on 1 days rest. Over is 6-0 in Hurricanes last 6 vs. a team with a losing record. Carolina is an outstanding 9-1 in their L10! Canes are a -330 favorite (mild surprise they are less favored over the Blues than the Devils are over Habs considering the spot for each opponent).
TOR @ BUFF. Expected goalies: Samsonov v. UPL.
Sabres are not good at home (11-14-2) this season. But the Sabres are 3-1 vs. the Toronto Maple Leafs at home over the last three seasons. Leafs beat Sabres 5-2 in Toronto earlier this season. Leafs are in a 3-in-4 spot. Leafs coming off a loss to the Blackhawks and Sabres coming in off 2 wins against the Ducks & Sharks. First home game back after a road trip for Buff. Maple Leafs are 7-1 in their last 8 after allowing 5 goals or more in their previous game. Sabres have faired well against Leafs while at home. Over is 15-5-2 in the last 22 meetings in Buffalo.
LAK @ MINN. Expected goalies: Copley v. Gus.
LAK have won both games this year against Minnesota by a score of 7-6 and 1-0. LAK coming off 4 straight wins where they've scored no less than 5 goals in each (2 of the games were against Arizona & Anaheim though). Wild coming off 2 wins. The Wild are 5-1 vs. the Kings at home over the last three seasons. 7 of the last 8 games have been overs for the Kings. This is the 7th straight home game for the Wild!
VAN @ NASH. Expected goalies: Silovs v. Saros. Nashville beat the Nucks in a shootout win (4-3) back in November. This is a 3-in-4 and 4-in-6 spot for the Preds. Nucks are 8-0-2 O/U in their L10. Last 7 Nucks games have gone over. Underdog is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings.
The rest of the games are below..

3rd and final meeting of season with Vegas winning both times earlier this season (1-0 & 4-1). Vegas riding a 5 game winning streak and remains one of the best road teams in the league. This will be Brossoit's first start. Golden Knights are 15-3-1 vs. the Blackhawks over their last 19 games. Under is 8-1-1 in Golden Knights last 10 road games. Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Chicago.
PHILLY @ EDM. Expected: Hart v. Skinner.
Flyers beat Oilers in a shootout a few weeks ago. Flyers are in a 3-in-4 and 4-in-6 spot. Oilers have lost 4 straight, last few have been blown leads. All stats I found point toward the over here. Over is 7-1 in the last 8 meetings in Edmonton.
Please feel free to add any notes or comments here. We found some valuable information in yesterday's thread which helped pick some good dogs in a few spots (Sharks, Jets) and other winners.

I really don't see the Oilers losing again despite shaky ass goaltending. But one could make a case for the Flyers with Hart in but I don't like the spot they're in.
I hate the juice with the Lightning (even in a parlay) tho. When you get in the 500s, that's pretty absurd. Also don't love they are back from a road trip but they are so good at home and Vasi is in net so it's hard for me to make a case for Anaheim.
I think the big upset happens somewhere in MONT/NJ or VGK/CHI. STL being in a 3-in-4 and 4-in-6 makes it hard for me to believe they will compete tonight in Carolina.

The game should be "doggie, doggie". One is coming, just where.
4 of last 5 played in Minnesota have been overs, but the Wild are having trouble finding the back of the net. My favorite of the day might be Oil tt over.

One play I found and love and may even post here if I go heavier on it is on FD you can get Oilers in reg / over 5.5 for +100. Listen, if you think they win by 2, that means they win in reg. Total is 7. We know Oilers always give up a few with their D & Goaltending but I fully expect them to bury plenty tonight. I would never lay the juice on the ML so this is my compromise. I bet FD bumps up the parlay total to 7.5 soon (meaning you won't have the 5.5 for long). Open to opposing thoughts on this one so feel free...

Second thoughts about Red Wings/Caps...no lean on Detroit (lol fwiw). Cheers
Detroit has kept themselves in the WC hunt (barely) with an impressive 7-3 L10, and an even better 5-1 L6 and a 3-1 roadie with tonight being game #5. That 4-2 loss was Saturday night in Seattle, where the wear and tear maybe started to show...23 SOG and 21 misses...yeesh 30% MS is a lot. Can they get up for the Caps? Sure they can, but I recall several guys in the forum talking about the last game on "the trip" lol.
Caps are no longer a MASH unit, and their captain will be back in the USA today (but not to lace 'em up). That fact, and the national TV beat down they absorbed Saturday in Raleigh...I dunno...hockeymen are a prideful bunch (like most pro sports teams), and I think they show up tonight fairly jacked for the Red Wings. Everybody seems to be on Detroit, like hugely...like can't get on the ark fast enough hugely. Rolling with the -150 ML Caps myself.
Cheers and BOLTA whichever way (or no way lol)

I think they are both slam dunks. Ducks and Flyers both played yesterday. TB and Edmonton both at home and overdue to win. Konecny might be out tonight. I don't trust Carter Hart. I'm a Flyers fan. Good luck!

100% agree with you on this one. Detroit will be a very trendy dog pick today. Line was set up for that exact reason. I'm officially leaning Caps but I won't play it I don't think.

Good stuff Omega A few things.... Montreal has played very well this year vs top tier teams. I'm eyeballin the Ducks for the 1st P plus the hook I'm horrible at totals, but if Vegas doesn't move this Leafs/Sabres game to 7, there's a possibility I bet the Under there. There's somebody's money keeping it off the 7. And it ain't the public. Also eyballin the Hawks Under. Won't be getting another bucket of points from Kane and a rook goalie for Vegas to protect.
Intense, I like reading your feedback. Some really good leans of late. 100% agree about Montreal and them possibly being the dogs that bark and this is an interesting spot for NJ. And I 1000% about that total in the Sabres/Leafs game. I expect to see the over in everyone's parlay tickets. I can't do it.
