Since it's already started I thought I might as well make a thread for it.. Bring on the lackluster Hawks.. Can't even win a must win game and got handed a present from Minnesota.. Now they'll get their asses handed to them by Vancouver.. Can't wait..

vancouver is the favourite, and they should win, but if chicago scores first in game 1, that building will be silent and the bench will rattle, vancouver has never felt so much pressure in their lives

As a Nucks fan, I'd say they advance after beating the hawks in game 6, this will be the year the Nuck finally beat the Hawks in the playoffs instead of getting eliminated by them

This is not the same Hawks team..they got guys like Stalberg and Frolik now instead of Buff and Ladd...big difference.

JWatt!! Cmon man!! Have you not watched any games this year?? This is a diff team.. Luongo wanted Chicago!! He said it himself on after hours he likes playing them believe it or not.. And with the way he's been playing this year and especially of late I'm confident in how he is gonna play.. This team is ready and motivated dispite what flutie says about the motivation factor.. Canucks know that Chicago is a diff team.. They only feared Bufuglien not the Hawks!! The hawks are just another Dallas without Bufuglien.. And what would we do to Dallas if they were in? Crush them.. And that's what we are gonna do to Chicago.. Everyone and their mothers think this will be a hard fought series.. It may be - but I see a crushing coming.. 4-0 or 4-1 Canucks Series win..

I don't wanna sound like a jerk and I really like Manny but.. If someone can step up and win faceoffs I don't really think it will matter.. Our record is ok without him in the lineup so far.. And I know playoffs is a different story.. But if someone (Hodgson, Lapierre) can step up and win faceoffs his spot can be patched.. I'm sure he'll be around the dressing room which is a good thing.. We aren't losing all of him..

manny is a PK guy. hes not gonna score alot but hes does the little things. van will miss him.

I wish I was as confident as you are

I have no faith in Luongo until he proves me wrong. Steal a game or two in the 1st round and I'll start to believe. Not saying the Canucks will lose, just think it will be a tight series. Canucks is 6

Truly didn't think this team had any major holes in it until we lost Manny . No third line center is a huge cause for concern.

He will be missed on and off the ice...

He will be there off the ice.....

On the ice he will be missed no doubt.. But like AV says someone has to step up and fill that role.. And I think someone will.. We've got good penalty killers on our team.. Lapierre has to step up and play a role in MM's absence.. I think he will do an ok job.
