Oilers will be destroyed next round

I am  on FLA.  Have the Oilers ever lost a SC Finals Series?

When Tkachuk played for the Flamers he and Draisaitl always seem to mix it up pretty good in every game the rivals played. He was always all over him trying to get him off his game and it definitely worked more than once. No one is really talking much about Tkachuk heading into this series but he seems to be at 100% unlike last years final so he could end up being a huge factor in this one. Both teams have exceptional PK so if that continues unders will continue to cash. 

I have Edmonton in 7 in the Bracket Challenge but I know full well Florida will be very tough to beat in a long series.

Rags don't score like oil? Pal they scored more in the reg season and prob would be slight favs if they beat fla.

The Rangers scored more goals then the Oilers what season not this year. Oilers 294 goals for the Rangers 282 goals for. How many goals did they score in the Florida series not many. How was there power play no where to be found. You actually think they are offensive as the Oilers with 2 and 29 and the best player on the planet in 97. Who knows nothing about hockey wow! There isn’t one player on the Rangers as good as McDavid offensively. The Rangers were only in that Panther series because of one thing that’s there GOALIE not because they can score goals. 

Most of us on this forum will keep it civil no matter who you are pulling for......be adults

Good call on that I agree! I still think the Oilers are good enough to beat the Panthers. The physical part they say will be the Oilers problem is something I don’t agree on. The Canuck’s tested them physically and they had huge dee. Another thing is they are saying Barkov will be on McDavid well Miller was great vs McDavid and he is a lot more physical then Barkov. The Oilers playing the Canucks might have helped them for this series vs Florida. When you have the best player on the planet you have a chance in any series I believe. 

If Florida was favoured on road for series against Rags what would Rags been had Florida been at home for series, +110 like Oil or possibly higher?

 depends who they pressure and hit. they got to look at the jersey numbers. if it is ceci, foegele and nurse. they will turn it over

Another 50 / 50.  Well 51/49 with the home ice advantage.

Edmonton has 2 of the best players on Earth who don't generally get hit a ton.  However, they have a liability in Skinner who is prone to soft goals.

Florida is a big, strong, physical game built to play and win close games.  They have the better net minder.  Subjective but while both teams will have a hunger, Florida's will be a smidgen more given last years final.

So in 50 / 50 games (series) the teams don't matter.  You play for the long term which would be Edmonton +125.

Whichever side you're on. It's going to be a good series.
