I am going to throw some change on the Habs at +280. They are getting a bit healthier and Tampax off the holiday break and playing the Rags tomorrow this could be a spot for the Habs to surprise.

I'm seriously starting to believe that Moneypuck has an agreement with some books out there to reduce projections to better match the overnight lines and not present such a significant projected edge. Something smells ultra fishy since I've been tracking this for years and years.

Happy New Year peel - I am getting more and more skeptical of any sites that post "data" on Bets vs Handle, Line Moves, etc.  Seems to me like it is a potential mechanism to encourage betting on one side or another.  Books do want to level the Handle to ensure they make money, and it would seem logical that they have a slight edge on the Handle that favors where a lot of the Sharp money is.

I know, I know, get a tin foil hat ready, but the older I get, the more I see how greed governs the world...  Good luck, bud...

You must cap the games yourself and then compare your number to moneypucks number? Or do u just blindly trust the MP number?

I go blindly on them. They were early on NJ before the public/vegas realized, among other squads.

Appreciate that bud. I wish I could add more sometimes, but truthfully, my actual "thoughts" on a game really don't matter. I've fully graduated to pure numbers/probability for betting games. Just because I have a feel for a certain game means next to nothing about the outcome.
