Predictions for next year

No salary cap room to take on a highly paid goalie.  Looks like we'll go with Varly and Neuvirth, which I'm OK with, and Holtby in Hershey as #3 when injuries happen.  We just need two defensemen who know what the hell they are doing... Volchenkov? Hamhuis?  Who knows, but it realllly looks like we'll have to get rid of Semin and his $6 mil next year to improve the D.

in an AP interview, Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman commenting on Cristobal Huet, who just completed the second year of a four-year, $22.45 million contract said....

"We're going to have to straighten that out. Obviously, the goaltending is a situation we're going to have to look at and figure something out,"

Pens and Nashville

I think it's doubtful unless my Penguins get a LOT better on defense.

the Predators however COULD be a sleeper. year after year Barry Trotz turns chicken shit into chicken salad in Nashville and they gave the Blackhawks their toughest series these playoffs. IF they don't bone that late game 5 lead they would have been up 3-2 going back home with "Mo" and could have pulled off the upset.

No offense but I think your predictions are going to be pretty off at the end. Granted, we're still not even 2 months before preseason so still too much uncertainty...Don't really know how u 'demoted' SJ and Vancouver to not even making the playoffs, and how you think NJ will finish last in the east.  I mean, u could be right at the end, but I think you're stretching things a little bit.  Just my 0.02 cents....there's still lots to happen
