Well, it's obvious I just can't pick a winner on the ice. 0-5 is just unacceptable. I bet 8 basketball games tonight, but I said to myself ="Don't post them" because if you do ==== They will surely all lose. Result? Result 7-1 on hoops and 0-5 on hockey picks. Call me superstitious, but it just seems that there is a higher power that doesn't want me to post winning plays. There's no other way to explain this occurrence. I have no reason to lie, as I am not charging anyone money for the plays. So, much like Vivek I am suspending posting any hockey picks unless I come across a play that seems like a mortal Lock. Last year, my posted hockey plays were 57% winners at the end of the year and up 20 units. The system I was going by has not produced more than 1 or 2 plays a week at most this year. So, I tried other models that have been unsuccessful. I don't want to cost anybody who follows my plays any more money. I wish I could fade myself in hockey. It's getting that bad. I have a basketball model that is 62-39 so far this year. I will post those plays in the basketball forums. Hopefully, I'll experience better luck with posting those plays. It's up to the gambling Gods, no matter how good a model has performed in the past. BOL

I think you’re looking at it all wrong Red. You aren’t forcing anyone including myself to make any wagers. All you’re doing is giving out your best educated guess who the winner will be or in your opinion what team has a good amount of value and could pull off the win. It’s up to each person to decide what to wager and how much.

Just a suggestion, maybe you could continue with your process and mark them 1 stars. Anything you feel has a better possibility to win 2 stars. 

All handicappers go on runs. Good and bad. But in the long run I believe you will be up plenty of units in hockey.

I was at the Rangers game yesterday. The Kraken completely Dominated the 2nd period. Igor stood on his head out kept the puck out of the net. The final score was not indicative of the way the game was played. The Sharks Dominated most of the game last night in Chicago but still managed to lose in a shootout. So, to say my luck was bad would be an understatement.

Good Luck Red.  That Posting Jinx gets us all at some point - I took over a month off last year before ASG due to just uncanny shitty string of bad picks and bad luck.  Came back and went +26 units post ASG through playoffs.
