again good workcanada yes baby
Great call CC. Montreal was the better team. I hadn't seen Vegas play much at all this year but was still surprised how bad they played. Maybe 2 seven game series had something to do with that?
Are you on the Habs against Tampa?

Yes CC, with regard to "TheHuntman" question above...inquiring minds want to know ?!
In the meantime, I'll give you my take, this time without coming down like 1000 lbs of bricks (sorry - kilo's as we're on the far more advanced metric system here in Canada LOL)...
I got my ass kicked hard taking TOR & VGS to beat a HABS team I felt had no business even being here, but here they are !
And even though I believe TB is the better team, I thought the same with TOR & VGS and look what happened.
And even though MTL was sketch in the regular season, they have rose to the occasion thus far and I don't see them going backwards.
I think the real question in the bigger picture is Price putting his name on the cup and going down in history as one of the most legendary goal-tenders ! (I don't think anyone in their right mind would disagree that he is most deserving of both the accolade and trophy).
As far as I am concerned, he's already got the accolades regardless of the cup, but if he wants the cup, it will pretty much be up to him (for the most part) to get it. I'm sure every player on MTL will be bringing their "A-GAME" to help him and themselves earn it.
The reason they had a crappy regular season record was because Price was injured and out for most of it, but he's back now and in top form as ever.
From what I've observed is that if Price can see the puck coming he can stop it and secondarily, I firmly believe all the players on the entire team know full well the powerhouse TB team they're up against and how they'll need to play accordingly.
Now I could easily be wrong (not like that would be the 1st time LOL) and TB just steamrolls over them in 4 or 5 games, but I'd like to take that chance.
Here's the kicker though...TB just won the cup last year and I'm not saying they're not hungry enough to do it again, but who's more starved ? ...And with that sentiment in motion, should MTL get off to a good start and keep going strong, TB may just be happy enough being there and resting on their laurels knowing they already did it and don't have much to prove...? I dunno...?! Just thinking aloud. I'd like to hear what you have to say ?

Landshark, the problem with narratives is that it's just speculation. At this point motivation doesn't really play much of a factor. They're in the same position. Even if it did, motivation is just enough to give a little boost, it's not everything.
Canadiens didn't play well towards the end of the regular season not just because of Price being injured but also plenty of other good players. And they had to play catch-up because of COVID pauses.
I agree that they have a shot. Montreal plays similarly to the Islanders (defense-first, limiting high quality chances) FWIW. GL GL

@thehuntman
Wait and see approach huntman. Let's see how the Habs play against the defending champs in Game 1 but I'll probably have some prop bets.

No doubt I thought MTL had a shot to beat Vegas, but I just couldnt see it. but boy oh boy you guys surely shut down the top scorers. MTL cost me a fortune this round!! and you've been doing it for 3 rounds straight.
