You truly got really defensive, too bad, let's bet on how far the Blues go...I don't think the Ducks will go past the Conference Finals either, especially if Kane returns...ever heard that sports is 90% mental as well?

Yes I do see it in them, I have basically already stated my opinion on that pretty clearly a few times now. Not sure what regular season or the Canucks have to do with the conversation, I was simply pointing out the Blues can score as good as anyone. They could not outscore the KIngs because the Blues had and have garbage goaltending while the Kings had conn smythe calibre goaltending, literally polar opposites in net, ofcourse they stood no chance, I don't know how with that in mind they could even take that series to 6 games that year, Switch those two goalies in those series and you could switch the outcomes. I just stated above the Kings won with incredible defence and goaltending so why ask the question on defence? And no I played hockey all my life but I am completely unaware of the games intangibles or the importance of defence in it's relation to success LOL. Ok so this is now just a repetitive merry go round from hell so i'm all done here, the floor is all yours. Feel free to continue to ask me questions I have already answered above LOL. Goodluck to your California team and goodluck with whatever it is you do during the playoffs. Cheers! We can just go ahead and agree the Blues will fail, we can agree to disagree on why they will fail. That's simple enough.

Ok, Polar, I was just saying scoring is way less important in the playoffs because you see way better defense besides goal tending-but I was really saying teams need to learn how to win pressurized games-the Canucks never did, the Blues haven't, the Blues haven't and when it gets tight, that's just as important as goalies...
See what happens about blowing leads, rallying like the Kings did in Chicago game 5 and 7 last year, not losing at home, etc...Good luck to whoever you root for...

I want no real part of this argument, but you pretty much just contradicted yourself again. I think that's one of PB's main points, you just contradict yourself. You say one thing and then turn around and discredit what you just said.
I'm not arguing that the Blues get bounced, because I think they do. They are gonna run into a better goalie and that's gonna be the difference.

Ya having the 29th best save percentage amongst NHL goaltenders playing behind an extremely talented hockey team is just awesome. Brian Elliot has the 21rst best. Elliot has a history of playing even worse in the playoffs than he does in the regular season too. Allen is 100% playoff unproven but ya that 29th best save percentage must just fill his teammates with oodles of confidence. Another huge mountain for the Blues to overcome, their two lousy goaltenders vs Dubnyk who has the 2nd best save percentage in the entire NHL second only to Carey Price. But ya if they lose it's because they choked not because their goaltending is putrid.

No way STL is coming from the west and really like the wild in their series and until STL can make it to the cup final, i will never believe in them in the postseason.

Also you guys put WAY to much into regular season stats when it's been proven again and again that those stats mean nothing when the playoff starts. Eye test and what teams have done in the bright lights(plus good goaltending), are what i base who i think are going to win. Dub is still unproven in the playoffs, but both STL goalies aren't that good either.

i read my points several more times-I am not saying St. Louis doesn't have goalie issues, I'm saying in the playoffs they have more than that..and if the rest of the room showed up, the results might be better-it might even raise the goal tending...
And numbers are different now and you guys know that-it won't be the same for Hammond this week vs. a stop in Edmonton last month will it????

Quick wasn't the reason we came back 0-3 last year vs SJ, he helped put us in that hole-but the rest of the team rallied-and the Blues would have been at the beach 2 days after game 4...

You get more comical with each post, please don't stop! ....Seriously.....LOL
Could be worse, my friend is arguing that MAF is better then king Hank because he has more W then L's in the playoffs and because of the 10 SO's he had this year.......I mean it's clear some ppl don't know hockey and some ppl who watch and know what they are saying.
